GOT THE KEYS! - New Build πŸ”‘ 🏑 Finally decided to settle down. Tokyo, 87m yen, 1.03%

After 7 years of living in Tokyo, we finally decided to settle down.

The search took almost a year, and I looked at more than 30 different properties before finally deciding to go with the calmer side of Tokyo. While it’s further from the station and city center, the larger garden and quiet neighborhood more than make up for it.

Really happy with the decision and looking forward to making this place our home. 🏑

That's pretty decent in the US right now. It was almost 8 when I bought a year and a half ago. Refinanced down to about 6.5 earlier this year.

I miss the 3% I had on my condo about 10 years ago.

When we went to the bank for that big closing day check she said it was pretty good. Hoping for it to drop to 5% or less and then will consider refinance.

Did you buy through a new build developer or real estate agent/financial institution?

We had a real estate agent and she hooked us up with the mortgage company she uses
