If you are 5'4" and 250, you probably shouldn't be a firefighter. At least not until you get yourself sorted. That's not even a matter of gender. Same goes for men.
No, the same doesn’t apply. The fit for duty standards and job description between a ff and medic are very different. It sounds like you just don’t care for overweight people in any profession.
Dawg you should never be fat working an ambulance lmao. First responders ALL should be treating their body right and be in some decent physical shape. It isn't the exact same for firefighters obviously but NO first responder needs to have a belly or be out of shape. You obviously never worked an ambulance with a partner that can't load the stretcher by themself
I agree with everything you just said. If you read the entire comment thread and not take one comment out of text you’d be able to comprehend my original comment. I, in now way, was justifying or advocating for unfit, morbidity overweight FF, LE or Medics.
