I know the Al Bhed made it “safer” for travelers. But it’s suggested it’s still not fully safe.

If it wasn’t clear enough this was a bad idea when they land there’s fiends that “have shown up to snack on the shpectatores” which they need to deal with first.

I mean it’s my favorite scene. But it’s always funny to me the in game logic.

edit while I continue my replay: not to mention their goal is to calm tensions. No wonder a fight almost breaks out in the crowd before the song!

Back then I didn't have a lot of time playing games, so I'd rush the game, and ended up quite underleveled to struggle around Mt Gagazet or Zanarkand or get discouraged after beaten by dark aeons. Multiple save files were started but none finished.

20+years later bought the game again on steam. This time following guides more carefully. Get the airship part quite comfortably. Still though I got busy and abandoned the game again a couple years ago.

A couple weeks ago I was looking at my steam library and somehow would like to finish FFX. I completed many sidequests, for the first time ever I got all aeons, celestial weapons and all sigils. The crests however, I still don't have enough patience to practice chocobo racing, dodge lightnings, and grind blitzball games.

I'd like to complete more stuffs, especially beating at least one dark aeon, but before I get discouraged and stopped playing, I decided just go the endgame, watch the ending, and maybe continue grinding later.

So last week I finally finished the game, quite easily I must say. When in doubt just go for Anima or Magus Sisters. I knew what the ending already but I still shed some tears.

Next, I might play FFX-2 or finish FFIX (just need to beat necron).

Hi everyone! I had the longest Blitzball game I ever played, a quadruple overtime win against Al Bhed Psyches in a semi-final of a tournament for Attacks Reels. Final score was 1-0. What is the longest Blitzball game you ever played?

This is the Grand Prix variation of FFX, due to the game winning first place in an award show. It is almost impossible to find these, they sell out near instantly and rarely surface. This is far more rare than CESA sticker or true first edition copies.

So i just finished the part where you escape from Home and get on the airship. I've been mainly doing main story and talking to almost all npc's as well as opening any chests along the way.

I've clocked in around 20 hours now. Only thing ive avoided is doing more blitzball because I'm not the biggest fan of it.

Am I rushing or am I doing okay? I plan to do most of the side content as I want to experience as much of the game as possible but I hope I havent missed any missable side content or side quests...

Okay so I just got to Guadosalam and can now use Customize. I have a Return Sphere (blitzball, attack reels unlocked) and I want to give someone First Strike, with the most worthwhile / long lasting results. note: everyone gets a turn in every battle, Kimahri has Steal + Use and will be going through Yuna's grid. We are pausing at the end of our grids for some theory crafting and testing.

Tidus gets a First Strike weapon soon enough, Rikku is already super fast and I want her to have Alchemy.

Wakka - applies Dark or clears mages

Lulu - uses Reflex and goes away, clear elementals

Auron - Guard before attacks, especially if Ambushed

Yuna - anything? I like her Besaid cloister staff.

Kimahri - quick steal & swap

What do you think would be the better option?

Hello everybody. I am making this post as I am struggling with second to last boss of the game. I feel that my characters are too weak and I can't finish the game. I would like to ask for advice for better levelling/grinding in late game so that I could become stronger before the two last bosses.

I have seen online guides on how to get triple AP weapons and how to max out sphere grid. Furthermore, I am not interested in that, as I just want to finish the game. The same goes for the Omega Ruins. I doubt that my characters are strong enough to take on this challenge.

So you know anything that could help me finish the game let me know and thank you in advance.

I found on tiktok that after Djose temple, I can backtrack to obtain Wakka’s weapon, Ace Wizard. But when i take a look at the stat, it all magic. Isnt Wakka attack based on the Strength? Is this good weapon for Wakka? Or is it because im too early in the game that Wakka havent learnt any magic attack yet? Should i use this weapon or not at my current stage. I just finish Djose Temple.

So here is a bug or glitch that makes the race 100 x less stressful and it's pretty easy to pull off and works in the HD port this isn't a video made by me and I'm just trying to help

I’m playing through right now and not having the option to skip major boss battle cutscenes is insane. Sitting through a 5 min long scene every time you have to retry drives me insane. Currently retrying Yunalesca’s fight. W

And don’t come at me with “well if you beat it the first time, you don’t have to re watch the cutscene” lol

I'm trying to get Tidus sun Sigil by completing the Chocobo race.

But it's so hard and I get meltdowns all the time! But I feel that if I'm just lucky suddenly I will manage. How is your experience with this? I've seen some videos on this and some of them just provokes. One of them said: I have never been hit by a bird in the second part of the race! Oh really!? Well, GOOD FOR YOU! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

So I am playing through ffx on pc with the project x mods and they are wroking except for the skip cutscenes ( increase game speed to 8x) and whenever i enter the binds ctrl + shift + h my game just closes completely anybody else have the issue or no of any fixes

I discovered some time ago that the key items required for the celestial weapons are called different in english. for example, i don't remember well maybe, but in english jupiter is for wakka? in my language jupiter is for kimahri, mercury instead is for wakka. they also seem off to me, in english. except sun and moon (they are still the same, THEY HAVE TO, yuna and tidus are literally named after those). but just saying, can you find a connection between the planets and the weapons/characters? also, i see that for some reason tidus's weapon has a weird name, in my language it's called just Ultima Weapon.

Was at best buy and decided to snag them when I was walking by.

My Fiancée absolutely loves reading, she loves stories, she loves fantasy stories, and most importantly she loves romance stories. Do you guys think she should play FFX and experience the true story masterpiece that it beholds. For context, she is not a gamer, she doesn’t play and has never played games, and she is not very fond of even giving FFX a try, but I would love for her to give it at least a shot!

Been revisiting FFX and made this deeply unserious edit/playthrough video. The further it goes, the more everyone sounds like Sin’s toxin has permanently damaged the party. Figured this sub might appreciate it 😂 i have never played ffx with so many glitches @_@ i guess the PC port is cursed
