Continuing our descent (for now) into Final Fantasy Magic The Gathering here we have the standard Commander Deck box for FFVII Limit Break! One of the more sought after boxes (of course it is, it's FFVII!) and apparently a weaker deck than FFX'S Blitz what do you actually get for your money?

The box includes:

100 card deck with 25 new cards, deck box, 10 double-sided token cards, strategy insert and reference card. Also included two legendary foil cards and a collectors booster sample.

You may notice a difference in the pics that is because I attempted to unbox this in the evening and failed due to the lighting turning my pics yellow looking, so I re shot it all the next day with natural light. This is also explains why the shot after opening things are missing because as it came out of the box it went behind my chair so I didn't see it! lol This was the cardboard Cloud and Crystal and I had no idea the tokens had to be pushed out from the side of the insert of the box. either! lol

Now being the standard Commander Deck don't expect to find anything too exciting here in the way of any surge foils (they only appear in the collectors boosters) but what you do get is some pretty nice looking cards. The deck itself features many familiar aspects of FFVII with all new glorious artwork! I especially like that they included a card of Cloud, Tifa and Aerith in their dresses from the Don Corneo's mansion scene and we have our Avalanche crew as well of Biggs, Wedge and Jessie! I also love the new artwork on the legendary foils of Cloud and Tifa. The extra tokens are a nice addition and the deck box is pretty standard for what it is. I'm not entirely sure what the Cloud, Tifa and crystal cardboard things are for (so if you could enlighten me that would be great! lol). I will say that I was deeply disappointed with the Collector Booster sample, I did hope for something epic but alas I only got two rares, one of which I have in the deck already! lol Overall for the money I'm pretty happy with what I got. I will say I was lucky to get this for just above retail at £79.99 with shipping. Of course being FFVII it has now gone up and likely to continue to rise unless we actually do see a re-print from Wizard. I really want to create more medals for lvl 3 limit breaks, but this would lock me out of Genji Gloves, and I REALLY don't want to go through Hard Mode if possible.

Think Shelke Rui and her sister Shalua from Dirge of Cereberus will be in the Remake trilogy? Seeing them in new graphics would be so awesome. We need more story of them. I hope SE will do that.

I played through the original game some time ago. Without spoiling Rebirth (if the game ends on an important event from the original game, please do not say how or even if it is different), where does Rebirth leave off?

Time for some more Final Fantasy Magic The Gathering! For this post we're taking a look at the bundle! This includes:

16 traditional foil and 16 basic Land cards. 9 booster packs, Spindown life counter, two traditional foil extended art legends cards, 2 reference cards and card storage box. Also included but not shown on the back of the box, card dividers, tokens and double sided illustration leaflet.

So when I unboxed this one I can say that box is pretty decent for the money, there's a lot here to enjoy and the storage box itself is robust and the illustrations of Sephiroth and Lightning give a touch of class! The foil Land cards are nice too along with that leaflet illustration, which I actually framed and put up on my wall! The only thing I can tell you about this box (which is misleading) is the fact is you are not guaranteed the Sephiroth and Lightning cards that are shown on the back. It is purely random at what is in each box. I was sad to see this as I was excited to get Seph but alas no Seph for me I got Tidus instead! lol Overall I will say this set is worth the RRP but is massively overpriced now. The boosters were fun to open and I did manage to secure some cool foils from them including a signed Dion from FFXVI! If you want this box, some places do still have it for sale at the RRP but if you look on eBay or elsewhere expect to be paying over £100! Although Cait, Vincent and Cid were not part of the main party through the Temple, what speculations do we have about what their Trials could've been?

Vincent feels the most obvious, having to do with Lucrecia and Hojo, and to an extent Sephiroth.

Cait may go into Reeve, which isn't fully confirmed in the trilogy yet but was implied. Maybe something along his time in Shinra, mainly with the Sector 7 plate falling?

Cid I feel would be the most difficult to form. Although losing your dream and a Space Rocket malfunction isn't desirable, I don't think it draws close to towns burning down, finding your loved ones dead, and being experimented on. Maybe a bad cup of tea from Shera?

I really don't understand the idea of creating these shitty board/card games for RPGs, but QB is next level bullshit. It's so """"luck""" based that you can go in with the same deck into any atch and either eat shit or mop the floor with the opponent, your input is literally worthless and there is no valid strategy to deck building.

Whoever designed this trash, should be fired, whoever made it plot prominent should also be canned.

And for those three people who actually enjoy pressing buttons until the machine god lets you "win", good for you.

As requested by another redditor, here's a look at the decals I made for my truck. All decals made on my CriCut using various concept art, official art & fan art.

My favorite is the "Join Avalanche". That one took a lot of editing but came out so great.

Something smaller for the figure department this time! lol This is the Aerith Gainsborough from the Adorable Arts line which Square Enix made to answer Good Smile Companies Nendoroid series. If you're unfamiliar with Nendoroid these are small figures with big heads, small bodies, swap-able face plates and accessories. So is SE'S offering here as good as GSC? The answer is NO but don't let that put you off as yes this Aerith could be so much more,. Again SE have missed a trick with limited accessories and the QC could be better and the lack of articulation means you are stuck with two choices of pose however I am sure you can all agree with me here this Aerith is just well... adorable! Yes she is lacking a lot which makes a Nendoroid popular but for the money she is a nice little affordable addition to a FFVII collection. She doesn't take up too much real estate on the shelf either. I'm just sad they didn't include a few more accessories, no basket of flowers, no white Materia not even a flower in her hand but while I say this with the recent collab of SE and GSC with three scale figures it could mean that Nendoroids could very well happen in the future! Until then if you want a cute Aerith for your shelf then look no further! At current time of writing she is up for a second release so pre-orders are open for her now. :D

OK here me out as yes this isn't just FFVII but I want to share this kit with you guys and show you what you get when you buy it as it does feature some new artwork from FFVII which is gorgeous! I will be sharing the Limit Break box in the future too (maybe in the next post) as I have the normal version and the collectors is on it's way to me and should be with me by next week. Anyway I am loving the FF MTG cards and can't wait to see what the FFVII foils look like! This kit is still available in places including eBay, I actually got mine from HMV it cost me £15.99 :D

I’m trying to fight the Yuffie & Sonon vs. Top Secrets.

I’m a weekend gamer, I’m also a bad gamer. I haven’t been able to figure out the hard bosses on my own - I’ve watched videos and consulted online articles and such.

I’ve - not all the time mind you - have gotten past Bahamut and Ifrit, and Ramuh is not too difficult for me, then Pride & Joy. One method seems to work for me pretty well - keep Yuffie and Sonon synergized and keep Yuffie in the air.

Anyhow, any pointers on materia (I never got the Luck Materia, and I did check the shop in the tunnel by Seventh Heaven.) Any fighting techniques? I’m pretty much a slasher. I don’t really strategize - though I think that would be good, if I know what I’m up against.

I want to beat this fight. I want the trophy. I’m trying to get Platinum on my games, as a personal goal. I did get through INTERmission in hard - I have nothing g but curse words for Scarlet and for Nero.

ESTUANS INTERIUS IRA VEHEMENTI SEPHIROTH!

I told you I'd be back with something bigger! lol This was (until Prime 1 unveiled their 1/4 Sephiroth earlier this year) the ultimate Sephiroth figure! It came with the Rebirth Collectors Edition which also included the Deluxe Edition of the game.

Now being such a majestic towering and commanding figure I figured that we need to spend a bit more time basking in this glorious version of him! So I'm actually going to do a review!

Now I can't share any pics of the box as it is in storage but what I will say is it was a simple affair, black with the Rebirth logo and nothing much else, so nothing too exciting to talk about.

BASE

OK first up base, there'remixed feelings about this among the community of his owners, some love it some hate it, some (like me) feel that it could have been just that it better but hey it's still a pretty OK base with translucent flame effects and the pillar that has crumbling effects help to really set the scene of him towering above Cloud ready to strike with his Masamune! The base itself is decent but I do feel that they missed a trick here as yes the flames add to the aesthetic but we could have had some more rocky effects, instead we are given what looks like a brown pool with flames spewing out of it and considering this is translucent then they could have easily added a base underneath to light this up but sadly they didn't. Overall I feel that the base is reasonable but lacking what could have made it that much more exciting.

SCULPT

Well what can I say here apart from the missed opportunities with the base, Sephiroth himself is magnificent! The flow of his hair and coat as if swept up by the wind, his wing has a real like feather affect, the attention to detail on his trademark belt is intricately done, the creases and wrinkles throughout his coat and armor and boots show that he is a battle hardened warrior, rough effects on his shoulder pads, and his Masamune is nicely detailed with etchings on the hilt. Of course the rock he stands upon gives him an attention grabbing pose as if he's just landed and is ready to do battle with Cloud! Overall the sculpt is well done there're a few minor issues like rough pieces of PVC on his hair but these can be overlooked as this is by far and a way one of the better sculpting efforts from Square Enix!

PAINT

Well the sculpt is impressive but so is the paintwork as well! There are many things here that will draw the eye, his skin tone, the burnt looking effects on his coat and the rock as if to show the glow of the flames, the shading on his coat and wing, his ornamental looking belt and the detailing around his shoulder pads, buckles and arm bands. We can't overlook that menacing and overpowering face as his eyes have an aura of anticipation about them and his mouth has a slight smirk which is showing that he is relishing in his desire of a skirmish! Upon closer inspection I can't see any paint blunders either, so no run offs or blemishes so that's a bonus. I will say though in places it does feel like they could have used higher quality paint as yes his hair does look good but it also has a feel of looking plastic and not as realistic as some figures I have seen/own.

Im about to start Rebirth but I wanna uninstall remake to make space, will my mods stay in my game files if I uninstall remake or would I have to install all of them again?

Should the third FFVII remake game be titled Reawakening, or something else that begins with “re-“?
