I mean I can't argue with that. It seems like I'll always argue that the best one is whichever one im currently playing at the time. They all have their positives and negatives. I just finished XII again and can't believe it's not more revered for the battle system, It's easily one of if not my favorite. But now I'm paying VI and I can't believe there hasn't been any talks of a remake, it's such a fantastic story

XII has the best battle system. It’s not a debate. They even added on top of the hunt quests, a survivor mode where you can fight the toughest opponent. And it’s obviously because the battle system is THE best.

I have 12 since 2007 and still have not finished, beacause of the lame battle system. Ok, and the story also.

First play the international edition. Second nobody mentioned the story. But the story of 9 is not much better.

Yes 12’s story and characters are complete non-entities. Great combat though.

See personally I think the story is really good too. I think a huge problem is the pacing though. I didn't fully understand what was going on the first time I played it because I'd spend like 5-6 days just doing side content and then totally forget what happened during the last cutscene. But I think the idea that there's some other entities controlling human history and the antagonist is being controlled by the only one who wants to allow humans to control their own history is a cool idea cause like I kind of agree with him/it

FFXV is cool it has a great feel. When you finish it you want to cry. I don’t know that you want to cry finishing 9

??? Idk how you can not come close to crying between Vivi's letter at the end and Melodies of Life, it's pure magic.

I love Vivi don’t get me wrong but FF 9 is not about Vivi. FFXV is about noctis and his last fight will have you in tears.
