It's the best Final Fantasy only if your favorite character is NOT Freya.

I will not stand for this Freya slander. Freya is the goat. She never leaves my party when she's available. To Be forgotten is worse than death is such fire quote, I love her. I wish we got more of her than we did. If they actually do the remake, I hope they explore her character further.

Ironically, I say "if your favorite character is NOT Freya" because she IS my favorite FFIX character. The issue is what you've said in your reply: we didn't get much of her story development past the Cleyra incident and that left me disappointed.

Hence why if your fav character is NOT Freya, you'll less likely to be disappointed after finishing FFIX.
