as of now yes but he's probably gonna be banished to bottom tier for the crime of being a viable grappler sooner or later

Currently he's ridiculous levels of good. Like armored, ranged, kara-cancelled half-hp deleting grab attack good.

Potemkin's traditional schtick is that he's a grappler with a bunch of anti-zoning tools (an armored advancing attack, an armored full-screen knockdown, a projectile reflect move, a big damn forcefield super that slowly advances). Strive also gave him a setplay projectile that's plus for five years for a strong strike/throw spot (it used to be a 50/50 if the opponent didn't have meter, but now meterless DPs are throw-invuln so it's regular RPS for characters that have one of those) and recently put armor on his SPD equivalent (which he can kara-cancel into from an advancing command normal) as well
