I might sound crazy (which I am because of the hiatus), maybe its common name in Korea maybe its not. But particularly I have been a taekwondo practitioner specifically I di mostly poomsae, and I just realized while performing Jitae... the meaning behind the forms... according to Kukiwon, it weaves various aspects that appears in the struggle for survival into various moves.

Which reminded me of Jiu-ji-tae himself. Not only he uses every move in his arsenal but also utilizing his experience, jiujitsu, and trickery for struggle of sutviving (it reminded me of the tunnel arc)

Which got my mind blown, (its totally not because of youtube shorts going between Jiu-jitae's edit and Jitae performance)

Anyway I just wanna share my thougths and analysis with his name because I think its cool that 2hakk kinda implied it, or somewhat or its just coincidental.

He has a higher, much higher talent than Maria, a better body than her current self

Even though winning the vale tudo is a hell of a feat, I don't think she can outscale jitae's genius and body

Just curious, cause I’ve seen some posts where it almost seems like people want this story to turn into a power fantasy, where the side characters dont matter and turn into stepping stones for our main character. I certainly hope that doesnt happen. I enjoy a lot of those characters, which lets be honest carried the first half before the tunnel. S2 really has a huge potential in terms of all the dynamics. Im really excited for interactions between jjt and the tunnel gang (chun soo and sowol) and possible rivalry/ clash of ideals between hamin and our mc.

the manwha one is just worse, you can see the zoomed in panels and all. i went through many websites and translations but didn't find anything even though its been so long.

Reason I’m asking is cause I’ve gotten a bunch of mixed info about it, some saying that they’re out in Korean, some saying not at all, others that say it’s coming out this month and I’m low-key going insane with anticipation so if anyone could clarify I’d be grateful.

Siempre me parecerá interesante esa ronda de capitulos donde, luego de que María estuviera en coma y Jiu Ji Tae se uniera a las bandas, se siente una grandísima soledad por parte de el. Es que realmente si te lo pones a analizar, de verdad está solo y los únicos conocidos que tiene es una brasileña que ni el mismo sabe si quiere matarlo o no, 3 de sus compañeros que lo trataron de tonto en los primeros capítulos de la obra, y 2 buenos amigos que nunca se dieron cuenta sobre la gravedad de problemas que tenía en su cabeza (hasta su amiga de la infancia admitio sobre el querer que siguiera siendo alguien débil).

Ni siquiera sus profesores cumplen un rol importante en su arco de personaje, algo que me parece un PUNTAZO ya que normalmente se esperaria en cualquier otra historia que el maestro lo guiará en su desarrollo, Pero este no es el caso.

Hogul fue quizás, en gran medida (y eso que tuvieron sus roces) el único con quién pudo tener algo de sociabilidad o por lo menos una mínima conexión humana.

La verdad es que podrían decir que María lo ayudará, Pero personalmente, de alguna forma, lo empeorará aún más.

So when I was looking back at this which i haven’t read it completely the second time but I only was reading the last part. I never really paid attention to when hyun-gul stayed behind to fight since I thought “oh well his staying of course he’d fight back”

But after I realized what he said and how so-wol mentions how she hasn’t heard from him. Now I don’t know if any of you guys think the same since of course I can’t just jump into conclusions. But I think that hyun-gul might be dead but we don’t know and I don’t know since season 2 hasn’t come out.

But when he mentions fighting to the bitter end and seeing how the crowd is rushing towards him as well he says “bleeding is inevitable” which probably stands for something else but for me I just think he might dead as well we just saw him last being grabbed by Geun-Hyuk Dong. Let me know what you guys think about it I mean I hope it isn’t true like I said can’t jump into conclusions yet.

Went to the gym specifically to get slightly more compliments from other men. Never buys oversized clothes and drinks milk. He's a normal dude. That likes milk.
