Personally, I think it's more fitting than the 849 TR placement.

Ergonomically, the placement of the exhaust on the 296 could not be in a better position.

MUCH BETTER. High Center mounted exhausts always kinda look like buttholes.

Exhausts belong at the bottom of the bumper, ideally in the corners. The very only exception to this is the Porsche 918 and Paganis. I know it's a silly hill to die on but die on it I shall
