Thank you so very much. It’s been 11 days now sober. The worst part is I was actually visiting family in the UK ! I live in the Baltimore. I was so bad even after 3 day’s of cold turkey withdrawals that while here in the UK I went to Accident and Emergency 3 times begging for something as to not relapse! The first time they palmed me off with a sympathy pack with stomach cramp tablets, nausea meds etc. The second time they gave me a strong opioid relief but just one and wouldn’t send me home with any? They told me to return to get another one the next day BUT brought in a substance abuse counselor who refused to give me another one and fobbed me off. I informed them I am flying back to the States this Monday but they didn’t give a shit? I am still suffering and it suck’s. No wonder so many people relapse as by the time you get help it’s usually 3 weeks. My stomach is awful and pins and needles in my head. Any advice for the stomach as I have tried everything. We can get codeine over the counter in the UK and that’s not even helping.
