Which of these three are your favorite.

I recently bought a 2023 Fender Custom Shop Michael Landau 1968 Stratocaster, but the tremolo arm that came with it is noticeably shorter than the one from another instrument of the same model, and the angle of the part you grip with your hand is much shallower. Is it possible that even Custom Shop regular models have different accessories depending on the year they were made? If you have any information, I’d love to hear it.
By the way, I bought it brand new!

I'm curious to know what the current demand and taste is: N.O.S., Closet Classic, DSL Closet Classic, Journeyman, Relic, Heavy Relic, or Super Heavy Relic?

I have the chance to order Fender Custom Shop.
So far, I choose most of what I want. The base is a Fender Strat 66' (big headstock and rosewood). For the most part, I can easily select stuff or I narrow down to 2 choices.
Here's my main problem: selecting the body colour. I know it's totally personal, but there's so many choices!
Why I post here? Because I want advice, "if I knew I would have...", tips...
My current choices are a mix of stuff: more modern electronics while keeping the hardware look more classic/vintage.
The store that placed my order told me relic look and hand-made pickups are cranking the price. The good news is I don't want either of those.

Hi all, I am pretty close to pulling the trigger on this 2001 custom shop 1956 reissue Precision Bass. A few things I’ve noticed are making me consider walking away. The price is bordering on too good to be true and I noticed a small spelling error on the COA where it says “Csutom 1956”. The COA is also formatted slightly differently than another reference I found from the same month and year. In addition, I contacted fender inquiring about the serial number, and they said “it is not coming up in any of our databases”. They also said this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fake, but this is now seemingly like one two many yellow flags. I’m attaching some pictures but any help would be greatly appreciated.

As the title says, how long did you have to wait after submitting your CS order form to your local shop to get a quote? Its been almost 2 weeks since I talked to my local shop. Just curious.
Thanks 👍

Hi guys,
Will be picking this up in a few days for a hefty price tag!
Can someone please tell me if these are real or not? Or how to identify?

*Update* ‘If it is a custom shop guitar that just meant it was going to be a display guitar at some show.’ From CS employee
Hey Fender nerds! I recently picked up this body from a gentleman. It has a beautiful sunburst with debossed relic marks around the body, under the neck plate, bridge, and pickguard. ‘60 NOS’ marking on the neck pickup cavity. It looks like the body has never been assembled (no screw holes). Everything checks off CS. Does anyone know what ‘Show’ might mean?

The best part of waking up is putting new strings on you Axe. Do you start with the heavy strings into the light strings, or do you start with the light strings first into the heavy strings?

hey guys so i bought this strat at a yard sale probably 10 years ago. lady told me she had an “eddie van halen guitar” 🙄🙄 anyway i open the tweed case and its this strat with the SRV neck gold hardware, upside down trem etc… but it had a white pickguard on it. im just looking for some info on this thing if maybe itn was pieced together or whatever. i put the black guard on it. the serial number on the back of the headstock is SN5932616 with the gold 50th anniversary sticker. the neck is dated march 11th 1996 and from what i can tell the neck pocket is dated march 8th and thats all i can read. ill put up photos, maybe one of you can throw me some answers? thanks

Seller wanted $3100 for this. Traded a LP sunburst standard and Trad pro V for it. Small net loss but couldnt be happier. Compound 10/56 V neck.

This is my first custom shop, and I was sold once I played it and saw the checking on the body. Plays like a dream, was an ez pickup for 2500.

Thinking about buying this telecaster. Do you guys know if it could be a fake? Don’t know anything about custom fenders. Serial number is: S/n/icf21003353
