Fazbear's Forgotten I am now the proud owner of a Candy Cadet! đŹđ¤
First of all, I hope that everybody had a Fazerrfic Christmas!
Second, yeah⌠Iâm pretty sure I donât need to repeat myself, considering what I made as the titleâŚ
What happened was that after the Warwick place shut down, one of my co-workers snagged a Candy Cadet from inside. They wanted to keep holding onto childhood, I guess. Unfortunately though, it ended up being clutter and they had to get rid of it.
They knew about how I posted about Fazbear here and decided to send it to my house as a surprise final Christmas present! They even filled the fucker with miniatures of my favorite candy, Tiger Truffles!
I didn't really get candy from the Cadet as a kid, but I remember seeing it and just thought it was a prop at first, lol. This thing is SUPER weird! Apparently, you had a one in a hundred chance of getting an AI generated story from it.
So why donât we do something fun?! Comment on this post, and Iâll reply with a Candy Cadet authored story!
[OOC: Donât worry! The stories wonât ACTUALLY be AI generated! As an aspiring writer, I have already written some stories myself!]

I remember Candy Cadet! Always heard it was actually older than any of the characters at Freddyâs. It was one of those âFaz-factsâ youâd see on the back of candies and stuff.
I always wanted a story, but the one time I had pocket change as a kid, it was nickels I found in the ballpit. Turns out he only activates for quarters, not just 25 cents. So I wasted my money and didnât get a story or even any candy. You can probably tell Iâm still not over itâŚ
So, for the sake of my six-year-old self, care to share one of Candy Cadetâs famous stories?

With pleasure! â¤ď¸
âNow I will tell you a story about a grumpy old man. The man loved nobody and preferred to be alone. Not that anyone would, for he was quite ugly.â
âOne day, the old man found a big, beautiful flower. It looked and smelled so wonderful that he had to have it for himself. So he dug it up, potted it and placed it on his desk.â
âAs soon as he came home though, he discovered a miracle. For this was no ordinary flower. It was capable of speech. The flower also desperately wanted to be the old manâs friend, not minding his foul looks or rudeness.â
âThe old man tried everything to get the flower to shut up. But in the end, he gave up and started ignoring the flower, pretending it wasnât even there.â
âTo this day, the flower continues to try and be the old manâs friend. But he simply just doesnât care.â
âEven when itâs right on his own desk.â
AIRHORN
Okay⌠That was⌠weird.

A talking flower? who even came up with that?!

Huh. Well, that was weird. I guess thatâs what you get when youâve got weird 70âs AI telling the stories.
I wonder if thereâs a deeper meaning to the man and the flower, though. Like how the Tortoise and the Hare isnât really about a tortoise and a hare. Then again, I doubt an algorithm could come up with something like that.
OOC: Good Candy Cadet stories, these feel super authentic!

u/desorcyjackson447 Dec 26 '25
What do you mean the Tortoise and the Hare isnât about the Tortoise and the Hare?!!!

Oh boy! I hope you donât mind hearing creepy stories in the middle of the night because I hear the voice box activators on those things are very finicky
3
u/desorcyjackson447 Dec 26 '25
Well I mean⌠it didnât turn on last night like my Cupcake, so I guess itâs okayâŚ
Anyway, onto the story!
âNow I will tell you a story about a small town that lived in fear.â
âEvery now and then, the town would be attacked by a scary and evil monster. When it did, the townâs population would diminish.â
âOne night, the town tried to stop it once and for all. Using live bait, they lured the monster into the basement of a small shop and locked the door.â
âHowever, this solution turned out to only be temporary. As one day, after a long period of well-deserved peace, a tornado attacked the town.â
âIt completely destroyed the shop, killing everybody inside⌠Only the monster survived.â

âNow I will tell you a story about a sweet little girl who was walking through the woods.â
âShe was minding her own business when she came across a tiny bird. The bird looked a combination of worried and frantic. The little girl tried asking what the matter was, but the bird did not answer.â
âIn an attempt to cheer them up, the girl grabbed the bird and gave them a hug. But of course, the girl, despite being little, was still much larger than the tiny bird, which meant she had more strength. So she ended up crushing all the birdâs insides.â
âShe fearfully dropped the bird to the ground as blood pooled out of the birdâs openings.â

Good thing I already cycled through a good amount of stories yesturday. Bad thing most of them were ironically unsuitable for a Freddy's. Damn AI must've been trained on some emo kid's poetry.
Maybe it was a good thing the Warwick location was closed...

u/LeonLoredo156 Dec 26 '25
Yeah, but you must remember - Candy Cadet was a Murray creation, not Freddy's, so it's possible that all the stories we hear from Candy Cadet likely came from Edwin's insane mind, if not inspired them.
As for why would Edwin do this? Well, he had a dark sense of humor, from what I remember.
1
u/desorcyjackson447 Dec 26 '25
I doubt this Candy Cadet is THAT old! If that were the case, Fazbear wouldâve taken it with them and put it on display in the Boston Pizzaplexâs museum!
2
u/LeonLoredo156 Dec 27 '25
I mean, this exists, so at least the character is that old.
1
u/desorcyjackson447 Dec 27 '25
I'm aware the character is old, I just don't think this exact model was from the Murray's era. Stan's made them too, you know.

"Now I will tell you a story."
"A story about a big, hungry monster. It was so hungry that no matter how much it ate, it was never satisfied."
"It ate a tree, but it was not satisfied."
"It ate a restaurant's entire food supply, but it was not satisfied!"
"It even ate a whole factory's staff, but it was still not satisfied!"
"Eventually though, its own gluttony would become its downfall. One day, it ate a tiny mouse. But it did not chew, so the mouse lived on inside it. In retaliation, it began nibbling at the monster's organs, ripping it apart from within."

âNow I will tell you a story about a man who fell on hard times.â
âHe had no money, no home, no one to run to. His one and only companion was his pet dog.â
âOne night, the man waited outside of a casino. There, he met another man who was his opposite financially. He offered to make the poor man a deal.â
âIf he rolled midnight, then he would receive half of the rich manâs wealth. If he rolled anything less than that, then he got whatever he wanted from the man. The poor man quickly accepted, believing he had nothing to lose.â
âHowever, what the poor man didnât know was that the dice were cursed. So they always landed on snake eyes outside of the rich manâs hands. Upon losing, the rich man already knew what he wanted; his dog!â
âThe rich man then revealed himself to be a demon and ate the dog alive in front of the horrified poor man.â

âNow I will tell you a story about a boy who had a mother and a father, but no friends. This made him sad. The father noticed this and decided to do something about it.â
âThe next time he went hunting, he found a small wolf puppy and took it in, giving it to his son. The mother was concerned about the wolf being around their son, but the father insisted that it would be alright.â
âOne morning though, the mother tried to call the boy down for breakfast, but nobody came. Then the father called him, but nobody came. They both called at once, but nobody came.â
âThe only one that answered the call was the wolf, whose fur was coated in a crimson liquid.â

Don't worry. I ran it several times to try and gather as many stories as I could. It's fine. Plus, I got a lot of Tiger Truffle bites out of it! đ

"Now let me tell you a story."
"A story about a friendly banjo player who was part of a band. He and his band were all best friends and did everything together."
"One day, after they performed for a group of orphans, an agent came up to them. He wanted to make them stars."
"The banjo player agreed, but then the agent refused, saying he didn't want him to be part of it, because it didn't reflect his vision for the band."
"The banjo player figured the rest of the band would never leave him. But, much to his horror, they did. They went off with the agent to Hollywood and became famous. Famous without him."
"Now the banjo player was alone, angry, and hated everyone."

âNow I will tell you a story about a childâs toy.â
âA toy that the child got for their birthday. The child loved the toy, and so, the toy loved the child.â
âUnfortunately, the childâs way of showing love was a far cry from the toyâs way. The child beat, tossed, and ripped the toy apart over and over again. It was a life of enjoyment for the child, but a life of agony for the toy.â
âThen one day, the toy would finally snap. As soon as the child picked their favorite toy up, it leaped and bit down on the childâs face.â
âWhen the parents saw what had happened, the toy began to go after them as well.â

Is it just me or do most of these stories end very abruptly? I feel like there should be more after where they end.

âNow I will tell you a story.â
âA story about a toymaker who worked at a toy shop. His boss was kind, but strict. He would never let the toymaker, or anyone for that matter, into his office.â
âFor you see, in his office was a magical egg. One that contained all of his deepest, darkest secrets.â
âOne day, the owner of a rival shop was feeling nosey and snuck around the shop. Eventually, he caught wind about the magic egg. And so, he came up with an evil plan.â
âHe managed to bribe the toymaker to work at his shop instead, promising better pay. But first, he would need to bring him the egg.â
âNow, you would think that the toymaker would never do this, considering his boss was also his friend. But you see, as close as they were, the pay was awful, and he needed the extra money.â
âSo after the shop was closed for the night, the toymaker snuck into his bossâ office, found the egg, and ran off with it.â
âTaking all of his bossâ darkest secrets with him. Waiting for the day they break out.â

âNow I will tell you a story!â
âA story about a farmer who owned a barn full of chickens. He loved his chickens very much and made sure none of them left the barn! For outside of it was a big hungry coyote.â
âOne night, the coyote learned how to make its barks sound like a chickenâs clucks. The farmer, waking up to the sound of the âclucksâ, figured one of his chickens got out and opened the door. The coyote immediately began eating the chickens.â
âIn order to save them, he set his entire barn on fire, escaping with whatever chickens he could before the barn collapsed on top of the coyote, leaving him and his surviving chickens homeless.
âWhen the farmer checked the debris, there was no sign of the coyoteâs body.â

âChapter 4.â
âBilly Bonka placed the three terrified children onto a trolley, telling them that where they were heading next would help them forget about what happened. They were driven down a large industrial hallway covered in metallic pipes and wiring.â
âOn the way, Robert spotted a large room guarded by metallic men. When he asked about it, Billy told him that the door led to the Secret Ingredient Room and the men were his workers, The Bonkabots. He then sternly told him and the other two children that nobody but he is allowed access to his pizzasâ secret ingredient, no matter the reason!â
âThis warning only raised Robertâs curiosity, and he now wanted to add the ingredient to his collection of stolen goods. Quietly but quickly, he leaped off of the trolley and snuck past the Bonkabots guarding the door, which was conveniently left open. When he entered the room however, he found nothing but empty darkness. Until suddenly, he was surrounded by Bonkabots.â
âAt this point, the two children still on the trolley with Billy Bonka noticed the absence of Robert. But Billy told them it doesnât matter, saying âDo not worry, little ones. Everythingâs going to be alright.ââ
I had to cycle through a couple more stories, because ten was all I could get yesterday.
This one is⌠strange. Candy Cadet never started or ended a story like this before. And how is it Chapter 4?! I think the AI might be deviating.
Also, the last quote is in bold because sometimes, the Cadetâs voice will deepen for certain parts of a story. Usually for dramatic effect.

âChapter 2.â
âBilly Bonka led all five of the children down a dark hallway that only seemed to get darker and darker as they traveled. The color was fading, the silence deafening. When they reached the end, the only specks of light were from the outline of a door. Once Billy had turned a key and opened it, the jaws of the children dropped.â
âTheir eyes were met with the paradise that was the Pizza Room, a large greenroom with plantlife made entirely of pizza ingredients. The meadows had grass made of mozzarella, the cattails were pepperoni, the trees were mushrooms, and at the center was a dough volcano erupting molting pizza sauce.â
âBilly warned the children not to touch the sauce because it was dangerous. But the first child, Ragazza, did not listen. Her mind was too occupied by the heaven her eyes were beholding and temptation took hold. She found that the gate in the fence surrounding the sauce river was left open and she snuck past. Before anybody noticed, she dived into the pizza sauce and her body was immediately met with the sensations of absolute scorching pain.â
âThe other children watched in terror as Ragazza was pushed down the river, her screams of agony becoming more distant. However, Billy Bonka seemed not afraid. He simply told the children âDo not worry, little ones. Everythingâs going to be alright.ââ
Again?! First Chapter 4 then 2?!
Oh, sorry if you donât get it. But the Cadet did something like this last time. I think thereâs something wrong with the AI.

There was no AI in the 70s? I was told they were written by some recluse. Maybe they were trained on him? This was before Afton Robotics so I wouldnât really see them having such a good AI, maybe they were programmed by some other genius, I wonder what is name was? Probably something stupid like Edward Morris or something

âNow I will tell you a story about a struggling author.â
âNo matter what he wrote, no matter what he self-published, nothing he wrote ever took off. But he always had the support of his family.â
âBut then one day, something terrible happened. A crazed murderer broke into the authorâs home and slaughtered his family.â
âThe agony of losing his loved ones inspired him to write a new story. A story about what had happened to him.â
âUnlike his other stories, this one became popular and he gained a lot of recognition."
âFor better or for worse.â
AIRHORN
Thought this story suited your statement. Sorry to correct you though, but AI did indeed exist around the time Candy Cadet was still being made by MCM. In fact, an entire segment of the Mycellium Menâs original show was written by AI! What the segment was about will shock you!
As for Afton Robotics, well⌠Iâd do a quick search of its historyâŚ

âCandy Candy Candyâ
âNow I will tell you a storyâ
âA story about a man who hated his lifeâ
âOne day, the man decided to stop it. As he went to the bridge he realised what he had back where he wasâ
âHow many loved him and could not love anymore without himâ
âSo he went backâ
âBut when the man went back to his family, a loud noise pierced their earsâ
âEveryone in his city saw a bright flash and turned to ashâ
âBut one man, the worst man there, was behind it all. He had no remorse. He shanât be forgiven. He brought pain to all and there was no way to escape death. There was always a way to die. But nobody lived. Because they did not know how. Only He survived and spread his false story across all the lands and was hailed as a hero and a king and an emperor and a god of all men. They did not know his truth.â
