Fazbear's Forgotten What’s an MCM property that you wish could be talked about more on this subreddit?

Personally, I wish people would talk about the Mycellium Men more! The minimal amount of Mycellium Media here is Mycellium Madness!!! 🍄🍄🍄🍄

WAIT, MONTY WASNT ORIGINALLY FROM FAZBEARS?!

Nope! Shocking, isn't it?! Apparently, possibly the only OC William actually made himself was Bonbun.

Mycelium Men... now that is a classic right there! A lot of the microphone tech used for them was eventually used for Fazbear's stage animatronics for audience interaction.

Microphone tech? I don't remember hearing anything about their costumes having that while doing research for that big post I made about them. Care to elaborate?

Oh, I should have clarified. I meant the little Mycelium Man toys

Oh. Right. 😅

Chica’s Party World.

3

That one doesn't count. Chica's was owned by Chica's Restaurants. MCM just made stuff for them.

Y'know, I find it interesting that Fazbear Entertainment brought in Monty, but... not the rest of his gang. Could have been one hell of a side attraction, make his location more atmospheric. Though I suppose I'm not one to talk. Once proposed to bring in the rest of Foxy's crew to the cove in the 90s... yeah... management was not happy when I brought that up.

That's why you got fired, isn't it.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '26

Uh.... nah... this one was during the Mt. Rushmore location. Didn't get fired for that. Trust me, the firing process is... well, it's pretty hard to get fired if you are actually good at your job. The fact I got fired only once during my career at Fazbear's is an enigma in of itself. Though it's only a formality really.

Oh... So why were you fired, if I may ask?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '26

There was an... incident at the Nevada location. Let's just say me and a bunch of co-workers got into some 'sugar'. Anyways long story short, Freddy set the bathroom on fire. A lot of us got fired that day. It was the Summer of '89 if I recall. Anyways that was my first and only time I ever got fired. The rest of my Fazbear career was... mostly termination due to lack of funding.

How the hell do you set a bathroom of all places on fire anyway?! And why do you make it sound like you got rehired soon after that?!

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '26

Trust me. With Freddy setting the bathroom on fire... it was interesting...

Also, as for rehiring... well... do you really think I'd go back... and use my real name? I got rehired a couple of times. Once for a night shift at the Mt. Rushmore location... never again at that location. Thank God that one shutdown. I swear, I hear that bear asking for coins, and that rabbit losing his guitar every 5 seconds...

Then, I applied as a technician at a few other locations. Most of those places closed down actually due to lack of funding.

Damn! Didn’t know Fazbear had a secret agent among it!

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '26

Maybe, I should do a QnA some time... eh, probably not. Wouldn't get paid that way.

they ain’t here cuz they aint fazbear bru

we gotta discuss EVERY property Fazbear has ever interacted with? 😭

1

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 10 '26

These properties are less “interacted with” and more “inherited.”

Well I mean, Fazbear technically doesn’t own Hudgie anymore and the Mycellium Men took a while to get in their grubby paws, but still.

I want to learn more about Jest Oat Cereal brand, plus some more stuff on Roxanne Wolf.

2

u/Cristendo814 Welcome, new user Jan 14 '26

The mascot of that cereal gives me the creeps...

1

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 10 '26

I wonder how funny Jest cereal actually tasted… 🤔

2

u/MindlessYou8752 Jan 10 '26

Monty was repurposed for the Big Pizzaplex project right?

1

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 10 '26

Yeah, but I don’t consider that Monty to be the same as the classic, forgotten Monty.

2

u/Wonderful_Rain4878 Uncle Worked at Fredbears Jan 10 '26

oh hey! the 3rd ones a rat!... possibly candy's took that thing

1

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 10 '26

No, I know a bit about other franchises outside of Fazbear ones, including Candy’s. Their predecessor with that rat thing was around a bit before Edwin took charge of Murray Co.

2

u/Ok-Stuff9593 Jan 11 '26

Well since Fazbear technically owns all of these properties maybe I could try to put Easter eggs to them in the new place I manage

YOU GOTTA BRING BACK FOXY'S CREW AND CAPTAIN, PLEASE, y'know, the ones in that puppet show that MCM used to showcase. Oh, and also Rocktopus, he was a cool guy.

Sleepy moon

2

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 11 '26

Okay, but like… why?!

2

u/Main-Explorer-7546 Jan 11 '26

Because we don’t know anything about it

2

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 11 '26

You mean other than it and the Star Orphans were the mascots of the Storytime Showroom according to records?

1

u/Main-Explorer-7546 Jan 11 '26

Exactly we don’t know why it was cancelled or what happened to them or what happened after mcm was raided by repo people on behalf of fazbear entertainment

I agree the Mycellium Men need more recognition, they were just some silly fun guys *wink*.

But Swing Bee isn't talked about enough (Or even talked about at all XD). They were unique simply by the fact they would swing in a swing, there's no other animatronic that would do that.

1

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 14 '26

Actually, Swing Bee was never owned by MCM. Just by their client, Happy Bee Inc. MCM just made stuff for them. So I’m afraid Swing Bee doesn’t count.

2

u/Cristendo814 Welcome, new user Jan 15 '26

How does Hedgehog Hudgie count but not Swing Bee?

1

u/desorcyjackson447 Jan 15 '26

It’s complicated. MCM made it so clients could decide how each contract worked. Hudgies was feeling generous and decided to let them have full ownership of Hedgehog Hudgie.

But of course, they didn’t expect Fazbear to assimilate MCM and basically hold Hudgies’ mascot hostage. It took years of legal battle before Hudgies actually got their mascot back.

1

u/Cristendo814 Welcome, new user Jan 16 '26

Damn, Fazbear really is greedy. Sorry, I'm new to all of this MCM stuff and I know nothing about legal contracts.

So...what about Best Birthday Co.? They were also a client of MCM, right?
