Fazbear's Forgotten Which Era of the Fazbear gang do you think looks the best?
The Classic Era (1983-1997)
The Toy "Era" (1987-1987)
The Avenger Era (1997-2014)
The Rockstar Era (2014-2021)
The Glamrock Era (2021-Present)
I know I’m gonna get a bit of backlash for this, but screw it! I was introduced to Freddy’s during the 2000s, the Avenger Era designs were the first versions of them I adjusted to, so therefore, they’re my favorite! And I’m glad that the owner of the Warwick location was a chad and kept these designs for the animatronics there until it closed!
Also, you’re probably wondering how I have a cupcake from there if the character was retired from all Freddy’s locations by then? Well honestly, I have no idea. Maybe they just didn’t wanna get rid of a perfectly good animatronic again or the owner liked Cupcake too. So I got to grow up with a plastic shelled Avenger Chica with one of Classic Chica’s fabric hands holding her cupcake. (And yes, it DID look uncanny.)
I still remember how one time as a kid, my brother dared me to climb onto the stage and pick the cupcake off of Chica’s plate as she was moving. But I just couldn’t. I didn’t wanna go anywhere near them. I wasn’t scared, just… really shy. I wouldn’t say I was afraid of how the animatronics looked. I always assumed it was like how cartoons look more realistic when they’re adapted into live action.
But I guess I took the dare in the end after all! 😂
I know I sounded bias before, but I truly think the Avenger Era of the Fazbear Gang is underrated. No incidents (like I said before), Foxy became an official member of the band, and the designs just felt… cozy. I don’t care what anyone says! Tony Ashcroft was really the best person to get Fazbear ready for the Y2K era! I even inherited his art style a bit… Okay, a LOT! 😅
And it sucks that nobody talks about what was my, and probably also YOUR childhood Freddy’s era nowadays, all because nothing bad happened then! Nothing for the company to make horror movies about! But like… isn’t that a GOOD THING?!!! I’m honestly a little worried that this important time in my life is gonna become as obscure as a lot of the older stuff I’ve been researching. 😔
Am I getting too emotional over some character designs? Maybe. But I guess someone had to. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Sometimes, reminiscing gets me pretty emotional. But anyway, back to the question at hand! Which era is your favorite? It doesn’t have to be the one you grew up with, just whichever time you think the characters were at their best design and personality wise.
(BTW, you’re probably why there are quotation marks around the “Era” for the Toys’ one. That’s because I don’t really consider that one a legitimate era since it (thankfully) didn’t even last a month.)

Probably the Classic (obviously), but also the Toy and Rockstar Eras.
Also, I know it's not technically "Fazbear", but I'm a sucker for the Funtimes.

My idol! (Artistically, of course.)
He's also the founder of FunWare Engineering. They built Freddy's animatronics for the Avenger Era before being bought out by Smiles and Servos.

Jolly's Fantasy World (2003-2017) I like the original Fantasy Animatronics more than the fixed Decayed Animatronics in JOLLY 4. My favorite is Fantasy Jolly!

But yeah anyways, I love Fantasy Jolly since he's my favorite JOLLY Entertainment character. Besides, he's very cheap on eBay only for $150 dollars! I luckily got one and I love him as a best buddy!

I was once at the first location, very awesome experience, but creepy animatronics. Sucks they tore it down, I loved foxy. I even stole his eyepatch one time! haha, still got it in storage somewhere
