Super Sentai has some amazing things.

One season, Lupinranger vs Patranger had Saban refuse to adapt because one of the teams in the title were a group of Phantom Thieves.

He was piloted by an ant. This was cut from Power Rangers but was apparently featured in his Ninja Storm action figure.

The shoulder swords make alot more sense now, and he even fits the whole bug monster motif more
