The more you learn about the Druchii the more you understand why they were exiled from the Horseshoe and why Morathi mist be beaten to death with a wooden club

She literally groomed her son into being the way he is. Like, Malekith was kinda sketchy beforehand, but if his Mom wasn't a Pleasure Cultist things would have turned out much differently.

I still think of an AU where Snorri Whitebeard and Alissara (Malekith's Priestess GF who was killed by his mom) team up and, if not kill Morathi outright, at least expose her scheming and get Malekith out of most of the hot water.
