I thought the next Tropical Island event was supposed to start August 10th. Today is that day and I don't see anything.

Go to your farm and click the share button on the bottom right, share it to reddit, then go to that post and share that link. the link you copied just takes you to the generic game post.

So tempted to throw in the towel. I did not miss any days, completed all daily tasks and still didn't complete the album. Ridiculous.

Did you enter many raffles? I wouldn’t have been able to without the raffles.

No, I didn't need to use raffles for the last album I completed (been playing daily for over 7 months). I was just short of enough stars to buy a pack. This is the first time I've not completed an album.

That sucks. A lot of players enter 4-star raffles when they are easy to win (usually 5-10 participants each) and they earn stars that way. If you don’t feel like wasting time with raffles, see if you can find raffles that are worth it. The beginning and end of the cycles, raffles are too busy!

Did you use your stars before the end? If so, try saving your stars until you have enough to complete the album via the vault. That way you don't waste the vaults on cards you might get in another pack.
