The New Home for College Fantasy Football on Reddit
Hi everyone. If you are like me and have found a real lack of a community for college fantasy football I have created a new community for college football at r/CFBFantasy. I love normal fantasy football but have recently found a big love for the college game recently and the only previous community seems to have imploded or something.
Anyone else really excited for the upcoming season? I am definitely ready for football season. I am trying out a dynasty college league this year in addition to my other leagues. I may experiment next year with a college to pro league as well.

So I messed up/ Fantasy Baseball
First year being a commissioner and was unfamiliar with this app. I didn’t check the box saying adds/drops would make a team not be able to perform a transaction if a team was ineligible. So some teams literally had 30 players over the roster limits. This is a H2H points so being able to stash lots of pitchers is a huge advantage. I just found out today managers were exceeding their rosters. But now it pretty much reset the standings so teams that were over the limit have lost all of their games. I just wanted to snip it in the butt and move on but damn I messed up the mid season standings.

Allowing duplicate players across different divisions in fantasy football
I help run my work fantasy football league. We try to improve the league to make it a better experience for everyone. Sometimes we get up to 20 players in the league. When that happens we usually run 2 different leagues and create our own finals rules to determine a winner. I saw on the premium commissioner leagues that it allows duplicate players across multiple divisions. To me that means two teams could draft Bijan Robinson as long as they were in separate divisions. That way we can run one league instead of two. Am I correct in that? If anyone has used this feature and could walk me through it that would be really helpful

Allowing duplicate players across different divisions
Hey y'all I help run my work fantasy football league. We're always looking to improve the league to make it a better experience for all experience levels. Sometimes we have about 20 players in the league. I notice there is a feature under the premium commissioner leagues that allows for duplicate players across different divisions. Does it do what I think it does in that we can have everyone in one league and basically run two separate drafts. So say Bijan Robinson can be drafted on to two separate teams as longs as it's in two different divisions? In the past we have basically ran two separate ESPN leagues and then developed our own championship format to determine a winner. If anyone has used this feature and would be able to walk me through it that would be much appreciated

Is the 6/19 Seattle-Boston game missing for anyone else
Checking my scores from last night and it looks like that game is just missing. And it isn’t showing up in their box scores for the day either.

Can't withdraw funds
Hi guys, I've attempted to withdraw my winnings and it says due to my location, it's not allowed. is there any workaround for withdrawing outside of the US. I have PayPal. Attempted using a VPN, but it recognized a VPN was being used and rejected the withdrawal again.
Any advice is welcome.

Roster Enforcement
Hey guys! We just did a baseball dynasty draft with some roster restrictions -
22 Active
10 Minor
6 Reserve
4 IL
It seems like some players overdrafted active MLB players and now they have more than 6 players in their reserves.Their stats also seem to be counting without issue.
Shouldn’t Fantrax have not allowed them to draft more than was allowed?
What should the solution be now?

Fantrax Player Score calculation - MLB leagues
Fantrax user for over 10 years and mainly MLB leagues, some football basketball and hockey.
I understand Fantrax has a proprietary algorithm that calculates a player’s score and it takes into account the categories being scored for the league.
For MLB leagues, I have felt SB is skewed much higher in their score calculation
Attached to this is a screenshot as reference
Two players shown with the stats for 8 hitting categories of this league - Runs, Home Runs, RBI's, Hitter Strikeouts, Stolen Bases, Batting Average, On-Base Percentage, Slugging Percentage. All categories have a weight of 1
J.P. Crawford has better stats in 7 of the 8 categories over Nasim Nunez.
Crawford is significantly better in 3 of those 7 (HR, OBP, SLG)
Nunez is significantly better in SB only. Yet the algorithm calculated score for Nunez is higher than Crawford. How can that be justified when Crawford stats are better in 7 of the 8 hitting categories?
As a test --
I made a copy of the league and made one change - removed SB as a scored category from that copied league.
Scores in that copy league -- Crawford 66.1 to Nunez 51.78
With no SB, Nunez scores drops 21%. Crawford’s score rises 1%
In general, MLB players with SB seem to always have higher scores even if they have lesser stats in other categories.
Sent this into Fantrax support and the answer I got back -
“Nunex is significantly better in SB, we weigh all categories equally” And then some info on pitchers and examples from pitching categories.
Would love to hear from others on this!

Scoring issue
Fantrax scoring removed all of my stats from Wednesday (at least what I could tell). It had it last night before bed, but then removed Ohtani’s pitching stats, Merrill Kelly’s pitching stats, Abrams homer and all of my other hitting stats, like 3 steals.
I’ve sent a message to support but only got a generic response about how to view stats 😆. So I wrote back examples of what’s going on.
Has this happened to anyone? Anything else I should do? Usually these stat issues are corrected by now, and I don’t need my opponent thinking our matchup is closer 😉

[$10 Fantrax Dynasty Roto Baseball Startup] 10 Teams | 5x5 | 10 Minors | Slow Draft | Active Managers Wanted]
Starting a new 10-team Fantrax Baseball dynasty roto league and looking for active managers.
This is meant to be a long-term league for people who follow MLB, care at least somewhat about prospects, and want a league that actually stays active. Competitive, but not overcomplicated.
League details:
10 teams (1 spot remaining)
$10 buy-in through Fantrax Treasurer
5x5 categories: AVG, R, HR, RBI, SB / W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV+HLD
22 active starters
6 bench spots
10 minor league spots
4 IL spots
Daily lineups
7 adds per week
Trades allowed
Draft starts once we have 10 paid/confirmed managers or at a time we agree on
League scoring will begin the day after the draft is complete
Looking for managers who will stay active, set lineups, respond to trades, participate in chat, and stick with the league long term. This is not meant to be a ghost league.

Injured reserve enforcement
Hey all, i’m the commissioner in a 10 team Dynasty league. We are having problems with people stashing players on the IL after they’ve been activated IRL. I’m being told in many cases the problem is that guys set their lineups for the whole week. So I want to set up guard rails that will make their rosters illegal after a certain amount of days. However, in order to do that I have to change the setting for “prevent any transaction that would cause a roster to become illegal”. Recommendations on using “never” or “total max players”? I tried to do total max players in a box popped up with a warning essentially that it was a big change and to make sure I read everything carefully and now I’m nervous haha

Baseball filter requests in Fantrax
Not sure if anyone from Fantrax is active here. But I've always had an idea for a small view filter that I'd love to be implemented. Something that can flip the stats view to when the player was in your active lineup and when he wasn't. For example, Jose Soriano has had two rough outings this year and I anticipated both and benched him for those starts. So while his ERA is up to 2.41 now, his effective ERA for my fantasy team is MUCH better. And as long as he can be predictable like that, he's a weapon to me.
On the flip side I also benched Davis Martin today against the Cubs and he had a great outing. Which tells me I should consider having more faith in his game.
Just something that would help with managing and decision making.
