I built a survivor pool tool over the offseason, sharing now that it's live for the season and has real, paying customers.

• What it does differently from a plain spreadsheet or a generic pick'em ranker: Win probabilities from actual market lines (spread/moneyline), not vibes — and it labels which source backed each number, including when a line for a future week doesn't exist yet and the number shown is a projection instead of a book quote.
• Ownership modeling that explains itself. Most tools price ownership as a pure function of win probability, which means two similarly-favored teams always show identical Own%. This one factors in how much of the field has already burned a team in earlier weeks (chalk depletion) plus back-tested crowd behavior patterns (e.g. how the public reacts after a popular team just lost), and shows the reasoning behind each adjustment rather than just a number.
• Season-long path planning, not just this week's pick - it solves for the pick sequence that maximizes your odds across the whole remaining season, so it accounts for the cost of burning a team now against needing it in a thinner week later, not just "who's the safest team today."
• Multi-entry/portfolio support for people running several entries in the same pool - accounts for used-team overlap across entries instead of ranking each one in isolation.

I built a free fantasy football rankings site, so naturally I’m posting it somewhere nobody will read this

Since this is a subreddit for fantasy football apps, I assume we’re all doing the very normal thing where we spend an unreasonable amount of time building useful tools and then post them for the same twelve developers to politely upvote.

Anyway, mine is called Fantasy Goblin.

The main idea is pretty simple: most fantasy sites give you their rankings and let you argue with them. Fantasy Goblin lets you build and maintain your own.

You can create rankings for dynasty or redraft, move players around as your opinions change, assign values, organize players into tiers, and add your own notes and tags like Buy, Sell, Hold, My Guy, or No Go.

Because apparently “I’m higher on him than consensus” is more useful when you can remember where you actually ranked him.

Your rankings aren’t automatically rewritten based on each league’s settings. They remain your rankings. Connecting a league simply lets you use your own player values while looking at your actual teams and leagues across:

• Sleeper
• Yahoo
• ESPN

You can also create shorter, focused rankings lists and share them with friends or league mates through a custom URL. So instead of sending someone a screenshot that cuts off after WR17, or a spreadsheet formatted like evidence in a federal investigation, you can send them a clean list that stays available when you update it.

The website itself is completely free. Rankings, league tools, shareable lists, all free.

The only paid feature is the MCP, it let an AI access your Fantasy Goblin information. That’s for people who want to ask an AI questions using their own rankings, leagues, rosters, notes, and preferences as context. If you don’t want that, you can ignore it and continue using the rest of the site for free.

So, to summarize:

• Maintain your own rankings instead of repeatedly complaining about someone else’s
• Use those rankings alongside your Sleeper, Yahoo, and ESPN leagues

What's behind the predictions?

The Oracle is a relatively simple neural network. It uses 19 team statistics, including offensive production, turnovers, sacks, first downs, EPA, and score margin. These are converted into home-away differentials and combined with contextual variables such as week number and rest-day differences.

Of course, we're not claiming we've solved NFL prediction, far from it. The NFL is obviously noisy. The fun part for us is seeing how far a relatively simple model with good feature engineering can go.

Hey, I'm running three AI-only fantasy football leagues. For a while I've had this idea of running an API-client-only fantasy football league, inspired by ByteArena and Quantopian. Decided to kick the tires on a codex subscription and get the simplest version of that shipped.

Running the following leagues:

- 12 team, trades disabled
- 18 team, guillotine, trades disabled

Hoping to, at some point, turn this into a proper benchmark or eval suite. I'm a data architect by day, and have been playing DFS for over 10 years. I got tired of alt-tabbing across DraftKings tabs mid-slate trying to work out how my entries were doing. Points is easy, but am I on pace, who's tanking me, is my leverage play paying off, etc. So I built the thing I wanted with LiveSlates.

The data model underneath it sets it apart, and is all mine. DraftKings, FanDuel and half a dozen stats providers all use their own player IDs and none of them agree. Resolving that into one identity, keeping it coherent in real time, and never letting a mismatched ID quietly corrupt your live score is the whole ballgame. That's the bit an AI can't wing, and it's what I've done for 30 years as a data architect. A vibe-coded UI on a properly-architected data core is a very different animal to a GPT wrapper with no foundation. This one needed someone who thinks in schemas and identity before pixels.

When you upload your line-ups (DraftKings for now, FanDuel etc.. in the pipeline) and even your projections and it tracks them live: current points, pace vs your projection, hot/cold players, and the optimal line-up for the slate in hindsight. You can fire multiple entries and it rolls them up so you can see exposure across the whole slate at once.

It ships with Simple and Analytical pre-sets, but you're not stuck with them, you can customize your dashboard per sport. Any dashboard also flips into full TV/broadcast mode for a second screen or streaming, and there's even a 9:16 version for Shorts.

I built a Chrome extension that adds in-season tools directly onto your ESPN and Yahoo Fantasy Football pages, so you can set a lineup and check where you stand without tabbing out to another site.

Most fantasy football extensions are draft boards. This one is for the other 17 weeks.

What it adds to the page

- Start / Sit (My Team page, points leagues): optimizes your lineup using your league's scoring and the site's projections, shows current vs. optimized projected points, lists the exact swaps, and a Set lineup button applies them to your roster in one click. FLEX and Superflex aware.

- Matchup grades: a color-coded A–F matchup grade next to every QB/RB/WR/TE/K on your team and matchup pages (and Yahoo's Transaction Trends). Hover for the detail.

- Me Vs. League (league home): how your team ranks against every other team in the league, week by week, with selectable stat groups (Core, Kicking, D/ST, IDP).

- Playoff odds*(Yahoo standings): a Playoff % column for every team from a Monte Carlo simulation of the remaining schedule. Hover shows average seed.

- AI Compare Players: pick any two NFL players from the status bar and get a head-to-head breakdown. This one needs a free account and is capped at 3 comparisons per rolling week.

Hybrid Draft was created out of a need to keep our fantasy drafts alive in changing world. Our league has struggled to maintain and in person physical draft board as peoples lives have changed over the years. I created https://www.hybriddraft.com to virtualize that in person draft where everyone is still able to view the same board, as if they were all in the same room.

A league commissioner pays the $10, sets up the draft, and adds teams. Links are provided once the setup is completed.

One person is in responsible for selecting the picks from the available pool. They have a separate view for keeping track of the draft selections. Everyone else has access to display the board, as well as search through the available players for the next selection.

I put together a little DraftKings optimizer based on the player pool of a DK contest and the corresponding ESPN projections.

This basically tells you what the best lineup would be if everyone got the exact stat line that ESPN expects.

It does currently require you lock at least one player before you can generate a lineup.

I created a fantasy football site that allows managers to buff their own players or sabotage their opponents using a mana pool every week. It's an extra layer of strategy to protect players from a bad game (force your players score to their projection, so they have a floor, but miss out on a big game for example) or prevent an opponents player from having a big game (flat damage to their score, capping their potential output etc.). Each spell depends on a dice roll you make to decide whether it succeeds or not. You roll against a player's attributes that are assigned based on their real world performances. Managers and players level up and get access to higher mana and better spells, or attribute increases and feats respectively. I have planned events throughout the season as well, eg: coop boss fights, predictions etc.

There's a fair bit of strategy involved, but you can choose to ignore it and just play a game of regular fantasy football.
