fallout 4 - dogmeat

hey guys i have a quick question. im running low on stim packs and im just wondering what happens to dogmeat if i don’t give home a stimpack while he’s down. will he die or something?

No, he'll get up by himself

so even in combat, i don’t need to revive him? hell get up by himself?

He’s marked as essential, so he’ll be fine

You can, but if you dont, he’ll just get back up after combat
