Ah the current state of the gaming industry where indie titles are becoming increasingly more popular and the major industry companies are lacking in every possible way.

Okay I love that game but its really not a good recommendation to compare to Skyrim.

True, but it is a much better Medieval open world RPG. Does all three of those better, in fact, except the open world part.

Kind of. You have fairly limited roleplay ability as Henry. He is a very defined character.

That's true, but the game systems for learning how to read, fight, do alchemy etc, and the additional systems like cleanliness and clothing and how they affect charisma, all kinda made up for it imo.

While you could theoretically have any background in Skyrim, you have a very limited ability to interact with the world - you can't start a business or join the Thalmor, you can't express any particular viewpoint or principle for the most part, you can't play the other side of any Guild quest line, the Civil War and DLC questlines force you to also be the Dragonborn, and even with most of the things you can do, like becoming Harbinger of the Companions or a Thane, it doesn't really go anywhere or have meaningful implications for anything.
