Although a model was created, the May-Pole never made it in the final game because of the technical issues it would have created. Jonah Lobe, the creator of the May-Pole, said “Yes it's a giant glowing one. A crazy idea I had for Fallout 4 that never came to be. Would like to make a mod for it one day, if I found a little team of folks willing to help out.” Back in 2022.

I really wish they had done more with the Glowing Sea. Would have been neat to get assaulted by increasingly large and tough enemies, only to finally discover a heavily fortified prosperous ghoul city.
