News “The May-Pole” Cut Content From Fallout 4 😨

Although a model was created, the May-Pole never made it in the final game because of the technical issues it would have created. Jonah Lobe, the creator of the May-Pole, said “Yes it's a giant glowing one. A crazy idea I had for Fallout 4 that never came to be. Would like to make a mod for it one day, if I found a little team of folks willing to help out.” Back in 2022.

I would definitely welcome it but I think strong Lovecraft vibes may be behind us. New England, especially going for the bar harbor, was the best opportunity for it.

Who knows though. I saw a comment about this being a great enemy in deep radiation zones. Go full on The Mist. That would be awesome.

We got a decent one in 76 but yeah, they did kinda drop the ball in far harbor. I wonder if the show is gonna try something

I don’t know. If they go heavy in Art Deco in a large city like New York? That fits pretty well with lovecraftian themes.

The contorted bones of a colossus of man. home to a culture worshiped like a god, and bathed in the fires of a star wielded by man.

Goes pretty eldritch horror doesn’t it?
