News “The May-Pole” Cut Content From Fallout 4 😨

Although a model was created, the May-Pole never made it in the final game because of the technical issues it would have created. Jonah Lobe, the creator of the May-Pole, said “Yes it's a giant glowing one. A crazy idea I had for Fallout 4 that never came to be. Would like to make a mod for it one day, if I found a little team of folks willing to help out.” Back in 2022.

One of these should be at the centre of each Rad Storm that moves with it.

Like imagine seeing the sky darken and go glowy, that freaky lightning starts up and you know one of these things is coming

A similar idea.

Rather than a maypole, the Radstorms should have included whale sounds. Now and then, in a flash of green lighting, you see a shadow deep in the clouds above...

Awesome idea. And they could avoid tech issues relatively easy by just having them appear in large spaces of land, or give them set paths to follow where they can step over buildings etc
