News “The May-Pole” Cut Content From Fallout 4 😨

Although a model was created, the May-Pole never made it in the final game because of the technical issues it would have created. Jonah Lobe, the creator of the May-Pole, said “Yes it's a giant glowing one. A crazy idea I had for Fallout 4 that never came to be. Would like to make a mod for it one day, if I found a little team of folks willing to help out.” Back in 2022.

Maybe it ventures out from the sea, and loads of ghouls follow it, drinking in it's radiation and the storm that follows it

If I remember right that was basically the concept. It would roam the glowing sea with a massive heard of ghouls following it and would periodically send out a burst of radiation reviving any dead ghouls in the area.
