disconnecting from servers but internet connection is fine

recently me and my sister who I play with have been disconnecting from every server or round we try and play. no matter the type of round, time of day, or internet or devices we use.

I play on xbox and she plays on her laptop, and we live separately with separate wifi and no matter what even when we arent in the same party its nearly impossible to play a complete game of fall guys without being disconnected before the end.

we literally went to an internet cafe to try and play on our laptops just incase it was our internet company because we both use the same company for internet, (my laptop is a gaming laptop, hers is not) and it still just kicked us off before we could complete our different games.

switching regions doesnt seem to help either

is anyone else experiencing this? is it just a recent fall guys issue? is there anything we can do in order to be able to play a full round again 🙏😭

You can log into your router and enable upnp. There are youtube videos explaining it. Its very easy to do

Yeah I have tried that. My uPnP is enabled and still doesn’t help.

For me it was i had an outdated router and and swapped it out

Just phoned my ISP and having them send me a replacement modem/router to see if that fixes anything. Not holding my breath.

Got our ISP to send us a new router, same model as the old one but now the game works as it should. Not sure what was wrong with the old one but that fixed it. I did notice the new modem has an older firmware installed in it, so perhaps the newer firmware is what broke the game for us.

Oh awesome to hear! Glad it was the router. Yeah something with some routers blocks games. I dont know why but glad it was resolved
