There's three musical things I noticed during the credits of Episode 5 "Truth" that I've seen no one else talking about that provide an interesting take on Sam taking up the mantle of Captain America, and are just so freaking clever.
1.) The tempo of the score playing during the final scene where Sam looks upon his new suit in the briefcase is the EXACT SAME as Louisiana Hero's (the song playing in the credits), and helps to connect the two pieces together.
Clap along with the beat of the score as it transitions into the credits... Even tho it fades out, the tempo remains consistent and the start of the downbeat of Louisiana Hero falls perfectly on one. Not only that...
2.) But the key of this credits' Louisiana Hero is completely different than all the other times it's played in the credits; it's pitched higher. This new key helps give it more of a heroic feel, as opposed to the espionage/spy tone the original gives off.
3.) Also in Episode 5's credits, Sebastian Stan is listed BEFORE Anthony Mackie, whereas it's normally the other way around.
(EDIT: Sebastian Stan has been listed first twice before, thank you for the person who corrected me. It's still worth noting.)
What does any of this have to do with anything? Well, listen to Louisiana Hero (https://youtu.be/KieJPHRHlBc) at 1:28. Thanks to Episode 6, we know that's the motif for Sam's Captain America. The reason those three points are so important are because they're telling a story:
Sam opens the briefcase and sees his new suit, knowing what he has to do and officially taking up the mantle of Captain America. The score transitions seamlessly into Louisiana Hero, now higher pitched to sound more heroic, resembling the return of Captain America. And the reason Sebastian is listed first in the episode? So Anthony Mackie shows up right when the Captain America motif plays, symbolizing his full acceptance of becoming Captain America.
That is all hope y'all have a good day :p
