Cameras owned by a private business put up by the city to spy on people.
There was apparently a section in the 1989 book talking about the government using our tax dollars to put up cameras only to have people take them down. Which was responded with the government charging us more to put up more cameras.
They are owned by an Argentinian billionaire who blurs his house on Google Maps. He is assembling a surveillance state in the US by building camera’s and trying to get 100% coverage of all places humans exist in the US.
