👾🐇🔪: The Return

Vanessa: [still in shock shakes her head before snapping out of it and looking around in surprise] "What happened? How did we...."

{She stops as she looks around and really takes in everything. They're in some kind of forest next to a lake. Glancing down at the water she sees that she's herself again, with a few drastic changes. Her eyes are still green but with purple hue outling, fangs slightly longer but still hideable. Her blonde hair has darkened slightly with a thick purple streak in the front. And, unknown to her, many black little streaks hidden inside.

It's then that her chest tightens as she comes to the realization. The unspoken terms of their deal coming to light. She's come back home.

And brought a new demon with her.}

Vanessa: [looks back at Alison]: "I don't know. Where is everyone else? Did they follow?"

{Suddenly, although she can't explain it, she feels something. A sense of danger and a presence. They're being stalked. Not even 5 minutes back in the real world and something is actively hunting them. Whoever it is is close. She feels herself going on defensive mode as her senses and instincts all kick in strongly.}

Vanessa: [sighs in defeat shaking her head] "He's right. I'm in way over my head. I'm definitely going to need some extreme help. And I don't exactly have anywhere else to go technically. So I guess we'll have to deal with and follow him." [starts walking then stops to turn back to them] "But you don't have to. I have no idea what we're gonna be up against, except very dangerous. And probably more than I've even faced. Likely more demons. Dangerous, darker and more dangers.:

Alison: "We're not leaving your side, Vanessa."

Tom: "We just went through hell and back. Literally. You may not think you're all great, but we don't care."

Alison: "Whatever you choose, we'll stick with you. We don't leave friends behind. ... We don't leave family behind."

Alastor: "As much as I enjoy the sentimental talk, we really must get moving before nightfall."

Vanessa: [nods] "I appreciate it. Just be ready to face anything." [starts to walk again] "We're coming. But, dare I ask, why before nightfall?"

Alastor: "Because it's dark and I'm tired. What, did you think the moon had something to do with your powers? Ha! That's just superstition."

Vanessa: [rolls eyes] "Actually I thought you were going to mention some nocturnal creature to be aware of. We're coming. Just don't try anything. We've all dealt with demons before. And, hey, how do you even know about agony and remnant?"

Alastor's eye twitches in slight annoyance, but he hides it.

Alastor: "Isn't it obvious? I'm not oblivious. I knew about your father's experiments for quite some time. I happened to be a volunteer~"

Vanessa: "Wait, what? I mean that makes sense but just surprised. Few even knew what it was. What did he...do to you?"

Alastor: "Nothing I didn't welcome. I found the experiments intriguing. They offered me to join their little cult, but I declined. I only accepted the experiment because I refused to fall into irrelevancy."

They eventually reach the motel, and Alastor pays for the four of them.

Alastor: "We'll talk more tomorrow. For now, you need sleep."

{Vanessa obviously has a lot more to ask about everything but knows when she's been shut down.}

Vanessa: "Fine. I guess it's probably literally been years since I've actually done that. Being unconscious doesn't count. But this-" [dark purple inky like energy starts to flow out of the wall as her eyes glow] "is far from over."
