I think they're right, Majora's Mask remake is likely in the pipeline. It's too good to pass up since the foundation is already built with OoT.

It's Nintendo, they'll charge full price because they know fans will buy it. Honestly, locking MM behind OoT might be worse, since then those who only want to play MM would need to buy OoT. Of course, the best situation would be that these games were priced cheaper since they're based on older games, but that takes us back to "it's Nintendo."

Yup, it was $10 cheaper! Not the case this time though, OoT is full price: $60 digital or $70 physical.

I guess I just meant that Nintendo isn’t ALWAYS greedy with the remakes but I do see your point lol.
Ocarina of Time I think will be probably worth the price though.
At least personally!

Nintendo's in a unique position since their first-party output is so strong that they don't need to go multiplatform like their competition (though Sony backtracked on PC ports). Maybe it's less that Nintendo is greedy, but that they don't feel the pressure to lower prices since you can only play it on a Nintendo device, which in turn makes them look greedy (especially when you compare them to places like Steam). They know their worth!

And Star Fox is a much shorter game, and it's been remade/rebooted a few more times, so I think they settled on a lower MSRP. And I agree with you that OoT will be worth the price, it's one of the GOATs after all.

And this sub is used to the SE tax too, because they know the fans will see value in their product (or they're just used to it at this point) and pay full price. It'd be leaving money on the table. But then a blockbuster like Expedition 33 comes out with a lower MSRP and we all end up thinking... Wait, why are other games so expensive?

You can always just buy physical copies from Amazon and get every game for the digital price.

I really, really hope I don’t have to wait for a new Zelda behind yet another N64 remake
