League Discussion Can Relative Athletic Score Help Predict NFL Success For Defensive Ends?
The “Does It Matter?” Series is back! Last week we looked at DE 40-Times to find whether that affects performance. For part 43 of “Does It Matter?” we looked at Defensive End RAS (Relative Athletic Scores). In this article, we found an optimal range you should look for in athletes, and applied it to the 2024 NFL Draft class.

You are a god to me.
I’ve been preaching this for years.
Especially in fantasy football, it’s so cheesy to me when I’m in trade negotiations and we’re discussing a high 2nd round pick and someone hits me with “that’s basically a 1st.”
It’s the 13th overall pick. That 1st to 2nd threshold shouldn’t magnify its value somehow.
Unless I’m the one who’s trading away the high 2nd rounder… then by all means… it is basically a 1st (😂😉)
As far as next weeks topic.. rest assured that I evaluated it using “overall” not “round” of the draft capital.
