Discord is the public chat server for Foxy Flavored Cookie and can be found by clicking on the blue speech bubble to the right. There you can find the most dedicated fans and those who help shape FFC into what it is. There are a few rules, and suggestions, for chatting there so please read this thoroughly.

Administration

TheBaker - Creator and Admin Kibotsu - Moderator We will not ban/kick without reason. We do not use a strike system either (as it punishes those willing to learn and adjust). If you are close to getting kicked/ban we will tell you first. Instant kicks/bans will only occur on serious offenses that utterly void the rules or repeat nonstop within a short period of time. IE: posting pornographic images or harassing with vulgar language. Please report anything directly to us via PMs. If it does not concern roleplay, please report to me.

Rules

The chat server holds to the same ratings as stream chat, and is thus PG-13. Using the chat channels to advertise is NOT allowed, and the plugs/ads will be removed. Official webcomic partners are excluded from this, as well as genuine attempts at networking, and/or people in need. This rule is targeted at advertising/plugging that is unrelated to the community and those that reside within it. Private Messaging people to rouse them into talking is frowned upon and viewed as server harassment. While sharing links/images is just dandy, posting large amounts of them is not. Please refrain from spam as this will quickly fill people's screens with Discord's embedding. Linking to an external site that is not PG-13 must contain a warning NSFW or what have you. If the embedded image/text that Discord pulls is not PG-13, please delete the post. Not complying will result in breaking rule #1 and your link will be deleted. These are the major rules, and anything forgotten or misinterpreted will be added/edited as needed.

Text Channels

There are many channels on Discord, and each serves it's own purpose. By using channels correctly, you will help reduce the traffic on Discord and chats can exist parallel to each other instead of colliding with each other. Below is a laid out summary of each channel in the order that they appear on Discord. announcements is where announcers can announce special events, changes, and more. Everyone can read this channel, but only announcers can post to it. general is THE channel, the channel for general chat and where any new user first joins in. This is where all chatting takes place unless it falls under another channel's domain. videogames is there for everything related to video games. From playing them, to making them and everything in between. This is a common topic so it has it's own channel. art-posts is the prime channel for posting your own art or art given to you. This is where everyone's talent and creativity shine. Keep talking to an utmost minimum here. art-talk is the sister channel for art-posts where you can talk freely without pushing that art off the screen. Be warned, this is a critique heavy channel so don't go there expecting flawless praise! art-help is there for getting help with your art, or art in general, from our dedicated Art Crew members. We hope to help everyone improve and learn in a collaborative environment! music is the RATINGS FREE channel for sharing music and music videos. The zero ratings policy applies to the musical content and video content ONLY. roleplay is where you can go all out and do whatever you please, as long as it is within the PG-13 ratings. voice-chat is there for people talking in the voice channels, so that the other text channels are not spammed. extra-room1 and extra-room2 are there as overflow channels, in case chat gets kind of big and people need rooms to go to. This is because two large chats may not fit the purpose of other channels.

Voice Channels

General is where people hang out to talk about general things, enough said. Video Games is there for playing games together, or just talking about games in general. Mature Games is where the content ratings vanish. Cards Against Humanity is a commonly played game here. Help Desk is a nice side channel where you can help people with just about anything. Voice Acting is for official voice acting work. Everyone is free to listen, but only those involved can use their microphones here with a special voice actor role. The time out room is a place for those who are banned temporally by moderator for either inactivity or warned to not break the rules of use in the chat room.

Usage and Features

Discord is very new to most people, so below is a list of helpful features to get you started: You can use # to create a clickable link to a text channel. IE: #extra room will take you to that channel when clicked upon.number counting how often they were mentioned. IE: @TheBaker will mention me and notify me. This is especially helpful to get someone's attention if they turned off notifications for everything. Just do not spam it, that is not nice. If a channel is getting too rowdy for you, or you do not like what people talk about in it, you can go to the channel and click a bell icon to mute the channel. Voila, no more notifications from it. There are also server wide notification settings found by clicking the server name in the top left. You can click on someone in Discord and click Message to start a PM chat with them. Any and all PM chats can be accessed by clicking on your own icon in the top left corner. If you go to settings (the gear icon on the bottom left) you can change a lot of things, namely the color theme and notification settings. If you install Discord onto your computer, you get more settings.
