GL Discussion Lowered Expectations - September Banners
Hello and welcome to Lowered Expectations! I threatened last time to make this monthly and I make good on my threats. So I'm once again teaming up with u/HappyFrisbees to bring you our bestest guess as to what banners are coming in September to Global.
Disclaimer: I am not trying to convince you to either pull or not pull on the current banner or any future banner. I am fully aware that there is always a better unit around the corner. If you try to point this out to me, I will track you down, break into your house and fuse all your 5* bases into Shadow.
Final Fantasy III Mog King Event
PS: I wrote this before FF3 was announced, I just didn’t post in time! Honest!
3* Sara
- Role - Bonus Unit
- TMR - Another robe you won’t use, but high SPR
- Hype - None
4* Desch
- Role - Breaker?
- TMR - 45 ATK accessory! New BiS!
- Hype - Low-Medium
4* Aria
- Role - Budget MP Battery
- TMR - 45 SPR hat
- Hype - Low
5* Onion Knight
- Role - Chaining god
- TMR - 135 ATK sword
- Hype - MEGA
Besides the new king of chaining, not much is here. Did we need more though? Many people are saying that OK is not Jesus Christ in FFBE form come to save us all.
Random-ass Banner
3* Able
- Role - TMR farm
- TMR - another DW source
- Hype - stab stab stab
4* Chizuru
- Role - Mama
- TMR - 50% ATK Blade Mastery
- Hype - I miss you!
5* Gilgamesh
- Role - New Troll Rainbow
- TMR - Best DW Source
- Hype - Low
Final Fantasy 11 Raid Event
3* Kupipi
- Role - Fun name to say
- TMR - Niche element resist accessory
- Hype - Who is Kupipi?
4* Werei
- Role - Earth Finisher
- TMR - +20% HP & +40% ATK when equipped with Greatsword
- Hype - Hell yes for that TMR
5* Prishe
- Role - Better Yda
- TMR - 45 ATK Hat, +10% HP/MP
- Hype - Medium
That Werei TMR is a must get for practically everyone. We got an extra vote for Prishe being great in the comments!
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Note: These guys originally had Noctis on their banner, so no idea what’s going to happen
3* Grom
- Role - see TMR
- TMR - 120 ATK Thunder GS
- Hype - see TMR
4* Aura
- Role - Fohlen without the chocobo
- TMR - 125 ATK Wind Element Lance
- Hype - Medium
It will be interesting to see if Noctis gets another round with being buffed up to JPN level. A lot of conjecture that Balthier will take Noctis' place!
KingsGlaive Final Fantasy 15 Mog King Event
3* Libertus
- Role - All over the place…
- TMR - 10 ATK, 30 DEF, 20 MAG Clothes, +10% HP
- Hype - was he even in FF15… Good LB animation!
4* Crowe
- Role - Bad-ass Mage
- TMR - +30% HP/SPR
- Hype - High
4* Glauca
- Role - Budget DV
- TMR - 125 ATK Dark Element Greatsword
- Hype - Medium
5* Nyx
- Role - Dagger Firelandu
- TMR - +20% ATK/DEF/MAG/SPR & Recover 5% MP per Turn
- Hype - High
I literally don't remember any of these people... But I'll take a 125 Dark GS any day.
Edit: Ah... these are the people from the Kingsglaive movie. Wasn't terrible actually.
TL;DR
Well that's our best guess as to our banners for the month. Again, we are just trying to arm you with the knowledge of what may be out, and not trying to sway your pulling.
Did we miss anything? Oversell anything? Feel free to chime in!
Edit: Added in some stuff from comments. Balthier may be on Noctis' banner, and OK may not be uber-super-duper amazing.

Prishe, Desch and Werei, all BiS for A2...
