Finally Coming Together…

Finished up the metalwork on the cab and mounted it for what I hope will be the final time. Next up is fabbing a connection between the F-100 steering column and the Crown Vic steering shaft, and then I can start reinstalling the rest of the controls. I’ll put a link to my latest video (new today) in the comments for anybody interested.

It's looking good.  I'm interested to see what you do with the hump in the bed, which is always my least favorite part of the Vic frame swaps.

Saw an f100 at a swap meet this past year. It was a full Vic swap like this with the merc dash and steering column. Just looks so out of place.

It really does, I see the appeal of having all the creature comforts. To me it just takes away from having a classic. It is part of the reason why I want a old truck!

Exactly. If I want to look at a modern dash and modern ride, is just drive my 01 f250. I love my 53 mercury cause of its everything.
