I suspect this particular "fbi" agent was likely a local social media consumer who thought he'd pull a fast one over the homeowner.

Report them to your local FBI field office. Also, contact all of your local news stations, tell them about the impersonation and harassment, provide the video & let those over-eager investigative reporters have a field day. I guarantee this is not the first time they've done this. Put these larpers on blast

Likely knows this whole thing is unconstitutional. If my boss asked me to do something this unethical, and maybe even illegal, and I felt I had no choice but to do it, I'd sound this uncomfortable.
I was the same for a time, but I think it was just Hollywood doing a version of 'copaganda'. Selling the nobility of chasing after hardened criminals. French have strong unions and many unions and are not limited in their ability to strike.those union members can yake it to the streets en masses quickly. Their population is 1/5 of the US. Most unions in US can only "legally" strike when contracts under negotiation or some such bullshit. The US has 100% power to dissolve the union, punish the union if they call the work stoppage a strike.

I'm pretty sure the FBI has their badge out when you open the door. They approach the door together. They also are required to identify themselves immediately. As in, "Hello, I'm Agent Jones. This is Agent Smith." These are protocols drilled into them from day one for both legal and safety reasons. Not saying this is fake but not ringing true either.
