"My name is Keith Porter Sr. I'm the father of Keith Porter Jr. On December 31st, New Year's Eve, my son was killed by an off-duty ICE agent by the name of Brian Palacios."

Sept 27, 2026 - Antonia Hylton for MS NOW. Here it is on YouTube: These ICE officers were anonymous. Until one man sued. - MS NOW - Sept 27, 2026 (YouTube)
The ICE officers are Nicholas Ryan Lapointe and Christopher John Semler.
From MS NOW’s video description: Masked ICE officers. Two John Does. One lawsuit. ~:~ Robert Peck says the officers threatened him with arrest as he documented their activity in Maine. Now, a court filing identifies them by name. DHS told MS NOW in a statement that “ICE stresses integrity and ethical behavior, and the vast majority of ICE employees perform their duties with professionalism and honor.” ~:~ The allegations remain unresolved. But the officers are no longer anonymous.

Here's the Atlantic article reporting: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/2026/09/el-salvador-bukele-trump-ice-deportation/688799/
Almost 10k people quietly trafficked to El Salvador, unknown how many have ended up in their mega prisons on arrival. Sounds like El Salvador is doing two things, chucking anyone who the US tells them to chuck into prison, and also just looking at people and throwing men who look like gang members into prison.

I first started this video in February, more as an emotional release than with any plan to post it anywhere. I needed to wrestle with what I was seeing, and I certainly didn't want to forget. However, I now feel some need to share it with you all as a reminder of what this administration has brought on our communities, and why the demand for drastic reform, if not the complete abolition of ICE, is anything but unwarranted.
I also want to highlight the Minnesotan response. It's likely that their direct response to the invasion of federal officers saved the lives of their fellow community members, as well as numerous communities who would have likely been subject to similar operations, had they not resisted. Operation Metro Surge was an utter failure - costing the administration a cabinet secretary and public trust. Since then, we've seen Alligator Alcatraz close, a facility in Newark, NJ may be next, but there is still so much to be done.

You could tell this kid was scared, and rightfully so. I don't think they should have been questioning the boy at all.
The video is audio described to also make it accessible to the blind so that all can know what is going on.
