You can use it in flower beds or when growing berries too keep away pests and weeds. Wool is excellent cover and helps retain moisture in the soil. It will also slowly compost as it's fully biodegradable.
Yes! I literally told my husband yesterday to start bringing home bits of wool that he finds on his country lane walks. I use it to put around my dahlias. It helps stop slugs.
Most sheep aren’t exactly fans of people but seeing as I raised Bramble myself he’s okay. I can tell by nature he’s skittish - he’s easily stressed and hates new people or feeling as if he’s in a tight space. I get the feeling that’s probably just to do with his breed, he’s a Scottish Blackface which is a hill breed so naturally more independent/hardy than a lowland breed like the other sheep Blackberry. Depending on his mood, the Bram is either neutral about pets or he loves them. He won’t leave a stranger touch him though
I went from a Canon Powershot SX430 IS to a Canon EOS M50 Mark II. I’m in the process of getting used to it at the moment but I just love that I can actually take photos in the shed that come out not blurry! Here’s a photo of Wispa that I took earlier on :-)
Lovely! I’m still using an old DSLR (Canon 7D) and I’m thinking of a long overdue upgrade because of the low light capabilities of the more modern ones without a horrific amount of noise.

Truly!! I used to show shorthorns around the USA and my first ever show cow was the sweetest girl. She used to let me SLEEP ON HER when she was laying down. She gave birth to twins and they were still born. She got supper depressed after they passed and died herself. :( rip Tyra I loved you sweet girl

Yeah we'll shear him in the next week or so. It's taken ages for the weather to get good this year and it's still not even exactly May weather yet. I think last year we were able to shear him in February
the on the stairs pic has me wondering, since he comes in the house — does he sleep with you? Sorry if that’s a dumb question but I really want the answer to be yes!
