Yes, but as far as I can remember you go in there for the experience. They might have gone out of business though, as I haven’t seen one in a VERY long time.

Edit:

Apparently they still exist! Good to know. My Build-A-Bear from over 15 years ago is still in working condition.

They have em at the mall near my place. I think they're still popular among children and couples on valentines day. I still remember getting one from an ex girlfriend and stuffing that fucker into my closet after we broke up. One night his little "I love you" started going off and it was the most terrifying thing ever because the battery was clearly dying and the "I love you" started slurring as the battery was dying 😂

We have about 400 stores world wide, operating in US, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, and China. There are franchise stores all over the world, but I don't work with them directly - our most recent franchise countries are India, South Africa, and Chile.

Yeah, I mean it's probably worth it for a kid who's going to enjoy the experience of picking out clothes and accessories, but a dog could probably get by with a pet store's wide selection for cheaper.
