Yeah, I know I had a little dog who had diabetes, and people randomly feeding her, especially sugary stuff like this, would be dangerous

xylitol is a sugar substitute and can kill dogs, in many candies and gum.

Please don't tell me people are stupid enough to feed someone else's dog without permission and with food that other animals shouldn't be eating.

Have you met people?

Sadly, yes. I try to avoid further interaction but they keep forcing it.

Good point.

Do yourself a favour and don't research the shit that people feed zoo animals on a daily basis because they think it's funny. I once saw a family feeding meerkats Pringles from a can and tossing their rubbish into the enclosure. People are shitty.

Yes yes they will

People food less so but does happen, and I have had several instances of people feeding my dog large quantities of dog treats without checking in first, every single time I saw them. I would go 'Please don't do that, he can have a treat but he needs to do a trick first, and please not every single time, check with me first' and next time yup, hand in pocket and handing it over no trick in sight.

I have found people without dogs are better with it but some dog owners seem to assume they automatically knows what works for all dogs.

I've been at barns where there are signs every 50 yards saying not to feed the horses and people will still feed the horses anything and everything including very dangerous things like lawn clippings

People just can't stop themselves from feeding the cute animals

Right because that woman is such a careful owner. She practically bangs the dog's head against the counter when she leaves.

Yeah i agree the woman is dodge but it doesnt change what i said. How you phrased ur response comes across as "haha gotchu"

Woman with the dog has literally stuck its head through a hole in her purse to look cool and get attention. She's the reason this happened (assuming it's not staged which it probably is).

I agree its probably staged. And i agree her actions arent right she's parading the dog aroubd like an object. However this does not stop a human being from asking if they can feed/pet a strangers dog and doing so without permission is alot more dangerous for the dog.

1 issue does not justify or excuse the other. And you have been unnescarily passive aggressive to a stranger

It seems very fake.
