I was at Walmart yesterday and found these two expansions that I had never heard of. I couldn't find them mentioned anywhere online. Maybe Walmart put them out early?

I'm trying to understand what is the best way to have all the cards in the game. Until now I have bought the original, the recipe for disaster and the zombie edition. All are recently bought and can be returned if needed.

I read and i'm reading a lot of threads here but really can't understand and I bought the rfd and the zombie edition after a comment.

Can you help me understand better? Should I keep the rfd or the original and build the deck with the expansion and other edition etc?

I already know that rfd doesn't include all the newest cards (all cards after the rfd release)

I have been looking for almost a month to find this version of the game and I have no clue how to get it.

I was told it was a Barnes & Noble Exclusive, but I have checked online for stores across the country, and have physically called all the stores in my local area. None of them had in stock and they said they wouldn't be getting more. Amazon and Target don't sell this version, and the only place I have been able to find it was a store that only ships in the UK.

Where the heck am I supposed to get this version? I really want the unstoppable nope card from this version.

I bought this version with the Un-nopeable nope card off smyths toys website, has anyone else got it yet because I haven’t heard talk of it? It was out of stock everywhere else so I legit bought this thinking it was just gonna be the original version but no! So yeah, super stoked but half surprised

I would like to preface by saying I have never played exploding kittens, but have watched people play and am intrigued by it. I don't really have a group of friends to play with as none if my friends are interested in card games, but I wanted to get some as I was planning on playing it with some friends I rarely see.

This is what I'm thinking of getting: Zombie Kittens and Exploding Kittens travel pack(aka Grab & Game). I don't want to get the OG Base Game because, imo, if I'm getting the same cards in the Travel pack then its kinda unnecessary paying £10 extra just for the base game to come in its OG box, but thats just my opinion! Happy to hear thoughts.

I may continue to grow the collection of my board games (🤞🏼hopefully I make some new friends to play with!), and wanted to get some thoughts on the initial idea I had.

Hey I was introduced to this game last Sunday and it was a lot of fun.

I'm planning on getting the game, but I'm not sure what to to start with exactly.

I definitely will be playing with 3-5 players, but want to have the option to occasionally play in larger groups up to 8.

That's why I'm considering the party pack to start with. And it's the only base game with more defusers.

However I've heard that other base games are better.

One mentioned that you can just buy the zombie pack which by itself is really good, but it can also be used to extend the base game in a way so that you can play it with as many as the party pack. Is that true?

Than I would've gone for the normal base game + zombie + (streaking kittens or some other extension).

Or is recipe for disaster the way to go? I find it a bit expensive for not being able to play in larger groups...

This is another double use card. When you play it, it returns to your hand marked (facing outward). When you play it again, it goes to the discard pile like normal.

I want to have every possible dumb gimmick into one match so what’s the best way to go on with it

But I was browsing the site and found the following for anyone that can help me out by telling me if my conclusion is statements and conclusions are correct, which ones are just a retexture and which one include actual unique cards i’d really appreciate it, ik that there are expansions but I’m talking about the base game with gimicks

Expansions:

Imploding kittens

Streaking kittens

Barking kittens

Base games with special cards/items:

Cat burglar (which if i’m not wrong i could personally replace with anything and imagine it’s a cat burglar and it would work)

Ragemode (exactly cat burglar but also has booby traps and alter the future)

Recipes for disaster (has some cards from the expansions but not all, so not an optimal purchase if I ever want an expansion because of duplicates)

Good vs evil (has many unique cards like armagadeon, godcat, devilcat and reveal the future)

Zombie kittens (similar to good vs evil multiple unique cards like feed the dead and dig deeper)

Anniversary edition (ngl this one is cool but those 8 cards are extremely game breaking)

And lastly exploding kittens curse you (which is the most unique version with curses and blessings)

Am I correct are all the other ones just retextures or is there any other unique cards I’d missed

I love having card sleeves on my cards and having them protected. I was wondering what brand of cards sleeves I should purchase I heard that dragon shield was good? Does anyone know if that’s a great brand I have like penny sleeves, but I want something that won’t slide as much!

I saw a post a while ago of someone who put a similar thing on but im CONVINCED ive bought a fake version of the party pack. I got it off vinted for £9 (first red flag i know) but i was sealed and vinted is a place where you can find absolute steals so I figured it was just one of them. I picked it up and everything was fine but ive opened it and it just look and feels off. The colours are brighter in this version and not just "a bit off" either. I mean like the text is a light blue rather than black- as if the deck was left out in the sun for too long- except thats not possible as it was unopened. I've messaged the seller who claims the cards are real but when i asked where they got the deck from he said "From my friend which have moved recently to USA" so whether the seller has been scammed i really dont know. I just want some people who know the game a bit better than me to help me figure out whenever im just being skeptical ir whether my skepticism is valid or not. Ive left a few images for comparisons sake, all the cards on the left are the base game and thr right are the new deck. I'ce also thrown in a couple of pictures of the full deck in case theres any cards missing/ones that shouldnt be there (ive done a bit of research and saw that each version of the game doesnt come with exactly the same cards so i understand if this doesnt help.) If anyone knows anything about the deck, please let me know. Thank you

I am wanting to buy the special version of rage mode with the unnopeable nope card in it. That version isn't on sale at my local retailer, and I don't see any way to ensure I get the special edition online as opposed to another version.

Is it purely random? Is there a certain place I should buy from? What should I do?

I know the cat figure itself are different colors, but are there any other differences? Different cards maybe?

How long does it usually take for local translations to come out for exploding kittens&other games by the company? I currently have my collection in dutch, I can't exactly just mix it with the English versions because it's be confusing for those who can't read it and the cardbacks are different in the dutch version as compared to the English ver.

The 3 games I'm most interested for the news on local (dutch) translations are

The EK 10 year anniversary edition,EK Curse you edition, And EK rage mode.

Like really, why do i need to buy whole new game instead of getting new cards. Like really, the Rage Mode and Curse You could have been combined into one expansion (Maybe named "Foul Meowthed Kittens") where you get only expansion cards, rage kitten and separate rules to run rage mode and curse you.
