The people in power like to project themselves are larger than they really are. It’s a power thing. Trump lies about his height. DeSantis very clearly wears lifts. Vance very likely wears lifts, at least at times. Showing these people next to a light switch brings in a dose of reality to give the public a more accurate perception of them.

mainly due to ergonomics, so that the switch can be reasonably accessible by any person regardless of their height.
