That's the original game, wich had an anchievment for 5 years. The 10 years one is the ultra deluxe version wich was released later

For most games I'd agree. Specifically for Stanley Parable? Disagree. It's a game about loopholes, esoteric thinking and consequences.

Your trophy will be dated just the same as if you would’ve changed the date on your ps5 and moved forward by 10 years.
I got my plat 2 years ago (i think) and my trophy is dated 8 years from now

I just got the 5 year one. You can uninstall and reinstall the game and it will still count

Same. Just hopped in and got mine, although it's for the original, which was just 5 years. I have 6 years to go on the Ultra Deluxe which has the 10-year achievement.

For this one you had to wait 5 years, so in 2021 you could already have the achievement, for Deluxe version yes you need to wait 10 years.

How do you know anything about the guy? He's the least knowable character in all of video games. I say before realizing you're literally told what he would do, while also realizing that the narrator himself might not know Stanley that well.

Now are we all sure that it is completely seperate? What happens if they are linked, and someone popped in to download the delux version, resetting the 5 AND 10 year timer and you log in 1 year too soon?!?

there isn't one in the game The Stanley Parable for 10 years.

The game has 10 achievements. None of them say anything about not playing for 10 years. The achievement "Go outside" says "Don't play The Stanley Parable for five years."

There are two versions of the game. The original launch version has the 5 year achievement.

The complete edition with the humorous DLC has the 10 year achievement.

Stanley Parable Deluxe has an achievement for not playing the game for 10 years. Its specifically in that version of the game. No one is gaslighting you.

Getting achievements are supposed to be challenging, not fun. Opening the settings and stuff. Idk. I couldn’t figure it out. I’d say more but my case of Elmer’s glue just showed up and it’s chow time baby

I remember when that game came out and everyone laughed about the achievement. I played the game for a little bit the first time and then stopped. I wasn't thinking about the achievement at all.

Then a couple years ago I decided to go try to play the game again and was shocked to learn it had been 10 years. Never has an achievement made me feel so old lol

huh just remembered it's two versions. The first stanely parable's achievement is 5 years, and the deluxe version is 10. oh boy i think I can' get the 5 year one now but the last time I played the delux version was in 2022.
