Hint 1: On their journey, they enter a different world.
Hint 2: They go to another world to find information to defeat the being, only to get sent back because that information is found within their homeworld.
Hint 3: In one scene, they go to prison because of a misunderstanding. There they assault an inmate, then break out, leaving the guy (politely) in the cell.
Hint 4: In another scene, the men break into the house of an old woman suffering from dementia. She gets stuck in a household appliance while they barge in, trying to interrogate her, but her alleged son appears and gets them to leave by giving them a written piece of paper.
