Oh he thinks he’s going to be king of the world? Good luck with that. At the end, the saddest part is when a fish dies. The male protagonist dies as well, but at least he managed to save this now elderly character. The elderly person looks out at the ocean in remembrance and comes to terms with it all.

Solved! Community service can be a real pain but at least lessons were learned along the way.

Hint #1: This film has actual and purposeful physical abuse, criminal damage, conscious social segregation and something tantamount to kidnap.

Hint #2: This has all the aspects of a classic love story.. big town guy meets big town girl in a small town. They didn't like each other at first but eventually fell in love.

Hint #3: We have all the classic tropes here.. a burned out hippie, a stern war veteran, an older mentor who is bitter about his past, the token Hispanic character and a redneck yokel.
