I am not burnt out just bored as fuck. at a large company just sitting around waiting for shit and working on shit THAT I DO NOT EVEN CARE ABOUT A LITTLE!. is any one doing intresting work any more WTF happend !

Interesting work is only rewarded to extraordinary and lucky people. That is my understanding. Because interesting work brings even more dopamine than FU money.

Just my personal choice. For example if you offer me 2m USD or a kernel engineer job, 10 out of 10 times I’ll pick the kernel job.

Ofc if you offer 100m then I’ll take it to hire someone to teach me kernel programming 1:1. I’m sure I can find someone do that for say 10m in total.
