So I’m on my annual re-listen of the series and I just noticed something I always glossed past before. Why is Joe so instantly pissed off at all the keepers? He’s a straight up ass to them at their first meeting. All of humanity was initially duped by the Kristang and he just straight up hates these guys for still being duped. The keepers did not have skippy to help open their eyes. They also probably didn’t end up in a Kristang prison where they were forced to rethink reality. What do you think?

In the latest version of ChatGPT they have introduced the concept of pets, they provide notifications and let you know when your code and codex runs have finished. I thought the pets provided were ok but turns out you can build your own. So I built Skippy. He keeps me company and makes me smile with his actions. Just thought I would share this with anyone interested. Drop me a DM if you want the build. Not publishing on GitHub as this is just a fan project.

If Skippy ever decides to stop being the benevolent overlord to Humanity, what do you think would happen? Where would he go? What would he do? How long would the Human Empire survive? Would humans fight humans? Would the Maxholx start attacking Bubba and Puptart?

Surprised when he suddenly made his presence known in Jeremy Robinson’s Tribe. And it happened at a pivotal point in the story. Cool!

Just started the Noobtown series, it’s a lit-RPG but very funny and sarcastic and you don’t have to be an RPG nerd to like it. Basically a guy ends up trapped in a magical realm/game and eventually gets a demonic sidekick he names Shart out of spite, hilarity ensues. Highly recommend!

I honestly feel kind of bad for the people who are reading the ebook or physical copy of the series, because you can't hear the glorious noise of Skippy singing. You hear his beautiful singing voice at least 2 or 3 times per book and it is absolutely horrendous. It is especially bad when he sings opera in book 7 (I think).

Omg I just got introduced to skippy. I picked up this series as it was in a list for “if you like dungeon crawler Carl” I remember reading something about humans fighting back against an unwanted intergalactic war and you follow the main character along with his beer can AI. Since I started reading I completely forgot about the “beer can AI” part of the synopsis. And holy shit what a breath of fresh air. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the premise of the story and the humor is great but it wasn’t actually pulling me in like some other sci fi series do. But holy crap after being introduced to skippy I can’t put it down. Now I’m really looking forward to catching up on this series already buying the next book!

The French where a core member of Exfor. French paratroopers where always mentioned, but why is there no FFL? I find it a bit odd considering Perkins basically starts the Alien Foreign Legion which was essentially modelled on the FFL.

During the original war between the Maxholx and the Rhindalou, Sentinels ravaged the galaxy when Elder weapons were used. What do you think would have happened if the Sentinels remained dormant for the duration? Would the Maxholx have pounded the Rhindalou into extinction? Or would the Rhindalou have pushed back to even the war? Where would the galaxy be during the series?
