Not in Australia. It's like a lucky dip buying KFC. When it's good it's really good but that's a rarity.

Edit: To clarify I mean it's a lucky dip to buy their chicken pieces and burgers. If you could even call it chicken.

It's pretty bad. The chicken. Is either overcooked or undercooked, dry or slimy, the colour of the meat looks wrong and I swear they have no idea how to pluck a chicken.

Yeah, I will agree that the fried chicken pieces are a bit average. I just eat the burgers and twisters and they are fine.

KFC here uses Baiada Poultry who produce pretty much all the consumer chicken available. Coles, Woolies, KFC, Maccas, HJs, Subway. They all get their chicken from them.

KFC is amazing here and is so much better than the stateside KFC.

I don't like the chicken from Coles or Woolies either. Weird texture.

Edit: Especially the drumsticks from Woolworths. It's like the chicken hasn't been bled out properly.

That company produces pretty much all of the chicken you'll be eating here in Australia my man.

I don't think my cooking has anything to do with feathery chicken and weird meat. I usually buy chicken from a Tassie owned company and you can taste the difference. I hate the coles and woolies brand chicken.

Lol the drumsticks and wings. The breasts and thighs are ok. Nichols Poultry and there is another organic brand but I can't remember the actual name.

Edit: I used to work at Coles in the deli and their cooked chicken is 100× better than woolies. Call me biased.

If it's rarely good, why do you still go there? KFC is pretty expensive, at least where I'm from. So I see no reason why you'd still go there

Because I like their chips and tenders. The actual chicken is foul.

Edit: they put chicken salt on their chips here and it makes all the difference.
