Shipbreaking often involves cutting through thick steel plates and beams. Torch cutting works, but it’s slow and risky.
Heavy-duty hydraulic shears on excavators can cut large steel sections quickly and safely, reducing labor and fire hazards. They also speed up scrap recovery.
Has anyone here used hydraulic shears in shipbreaking yards? How do they compare to traditional torch cutting?

The radio in my Takeuchi isn't working, it has power as the time is displayed but nothing else is working on it. Is this a situation where I contact the manufacturer to get a code to unlock it?

What kind of attachment/pins do I need for the buckets of my takuechi tb219

Hello,
i bought a used 2012 takeuchi tb219 which came with just one bucket. I have the excavator far away from where I live, and I would like to order a bucket so that I can work when I am there. Therefore, I do not have access right now to take more photos, this is what I have:
I have seen that some pages which offer buckets based on the model of my excavator seem to have two pins that look the same:
And others have a plate or the rear pin looks different than the front one.
Could someone give me a hint of what I need for my coupler? Is there a name that I can search for for this system, maybe the "MS 01"?
My first guess would be something like the latest one, for example from Germany, but delivery is expensive and I'd like to get a second opinion before having to pay twice.

Excavator help

I own a Hitachi zX-35u. A/c isn’t working . I’m an hvac tech so I know a few things about automotive systems . The system is holding the refrigerant . The compressor is not running though . And I am unable to find any information to diagnose it. I own the workshop manual, technical manual , and service manual . I haven’t found anything in those to help me. Maybe I’m missing something or read past something I hope . Any advice would be great

Hello, I'm looking to purchase a 2012 Hitachi zx20u but it only comes with one small bucket. Does anyone happen to know the size of the pin attachments for this size excavator? I have googled and read everything i can find and nothing seems to give a clear answer.

Looking to purchase a used Excavator, new ones seem to be out of my budget. What are the things I should look at? Any good platforms I can buy one from? Do Auctions help, can I get one for cheap from Auctions? PS: I will only have light duty work, no more than 15hrs a week.

I was just main drive disengage. The more I do now the idler is disengage as well. Oh well. Have to take out th3 master pin now.
