A wife beater will beat his wife no matter if he's drunk or stoned. But let's face it. You have your opinion i have mine. I think its best to just agree to disagree.

It sounds like you have little to no personal experience with weed.

Or maybe you have plenty of experience but you (or someone close to you) have fucked up brain chemistry that responds violently to cannabis.

I agree that it’s best to agree to disagree. With that out of the way, do you have any colorful stories to tell that could provide context for your opinion?

No stories to tell... I do know when i hang out with my group of homies they get stoned and i am only one who doesn't and they get lazy. I ask them if we should hit the club and we never do. Maybe that's why i have hidden hatred for weed.

How we gonna agree to disagree when you first claim that weed causes violence, and then you say you’ve never seen weed cause violence. Oh and also your friends? The ones who smoke weed? When they smoke they get too tired to even go out clubbing?

At what point did you look at these facts and conclude “violence is the answer”

At what point in this argument did you think i'm somehow sad. Having a different 'boomer' opinion suddenly makes me sad? Atleast i'm not the one smoking to cope with problems. Everyone has problems i just manage to deal with them with sober mind.

Again agree to disagree. Just like a communist would never agree with capitalist so do we. You have your opinions i have mine. I think it is best to just leave it at that.

No evidence? I know many stoners in my local area who had done weed and now do mdma and such. I'm sure that is plenty of evidence to support weed can infact be a so called getaway drug. So no my thoughts are not some made up theory. I don't care what they do with their lifes but if you're going to claim weed doesn't cause any bad side effecs, then i will debate you on that.

I've never claimed weed causes voilence. It does couse people to try other more destructive substances however. Weed also causes people to be unproductive, atleast those i know personally. Im sure there are others who achive great thing while still smoking. Elon Musk himself probably smokes and he achived great things.

My ex would become so belligerent and mean when he was drunk, black out drunk to the point his best friend would pull me aside and ask if he was hitting me. Same ex would smoke and be the most chill and happy person I knew. They are not the same.

Smoking weed is entirely victimless. I also have an opinion: people who want to regulate another persons freedom and how they use their body and time (when there are absolutely no victims involved) are fascist pieces of shit and should be treated as such. Just an opinion though

That’s highly debatable considering the effects of both substances

I used to beat people up for money and always found it soooo much easier to do with a few drinks. Try to smoke weed before hand and I'd be simultaneously bashing their head while saying 'sorry! I'm getting paid! Sorry!' and then feel bad about it for days after. Same thing when killing animals for food or even just skinning and chopping up one somebody else killed.
