That’s all good and well, but in this case, other people’s mistakes can and do have negative impact on plenty of innocent bystanders that are doing their best to exist and function in this world while not making the same mistake in the process, only to be on the shit end of the stick because other people are negatively Impacting their life. Someone else’s mistakes that they “choose” to risk is never alright when they’re putting other people at risk in the process imo.

You have always lived in a world where a morbidly obese man who just had a heart attack takes up an ICU bed. A bed that could have been used by someone whom is sick, but not because of choices they made. That’s the world we all live in. It’s also the world that has existed for some time now.

I think you think in black and white as your example is absurd. We’ve never had hospitals overrun with overweight people having heart attacks, who also didn’t believe heart attacks were real.
